Louis Paphos Breeze

Just returned from a two week stay at the Louis Paphos breeze and can honestly say the food and staff are some of the best we have ever experienced. The closest beach isn’t the greatest and I think there could be more shuttle services running throughout the day, as 4 isn’t enough but overall I would 100% recommend staying here. We did the jeep and deep trip to the blue lagoon organised by the fanatic shuttle driver George (definitely a character) for €60 per person and the Waterpark in Paphos is not to be missed. Nothing was too much to ask of the staff who were the friendliest of any staff we have ever had in a hotel. A special mention to George and Irene at the pool bar for looking after us with the spicy spicy bloody Mary’s. We will be back !!!

My husband and I travelled at the beginning of July with our two children (under 10) and my in-laws. It was important to us that we found somewhere that suited all ages, and the Louis Paphos Breeze seemed to tick all the boxes. Thankfully, we made a great choice! We arrived after midnight and the reception staff were lovely and welcoming, offering us fresh juice, water or fizz. We also had sandwiches, fruit and water in our fridge in case we needed it. It was absolutely boiling when we arrived and the air con only works when the key is in the slot, so the room was stifling to begin with but it quickly cooled down. We were very pleasantly surprised to have a bedroom to ourselves (the adults) and the children had sofa beds (not the pull out kind, but very comfy nonetheless) in the living room area. There was a kitchen and dining area too, which was very handy. The in-laws had the apartment next door, which was also very spacious. We both had balconies overlooking the pool and we had distant views to the beach. Everything was immaculate - the housekeeping staff do a fantastic job - and they replaced the towels whenever we wanted. The food is served in the main buffet restaurant, and there was always plenty of choice. You’ll find some of the same things on offer every day (e.g. salad items) but this was great because not everyone likes things mixed together. They also had a lovely selection of mixed salads, meats (cooked in many different ways), pasta, rice, cheeses and puddings (and many other things that would take too long to list!). They also had themed nights, which were great. My kids can be pretty fussy but the restaurant had a children’s selection in the evening with the typical nuggets, chips and pasta options, which was a relief. Saying that though, my two tried lots of new foods this holiday, which was nice. My son is allergic to walnuts and my only concern was that not all nuts were listed in the puddings. Thankfully they called it ‘Walnut cake’ when it had walnuts in, but he was slightly anxious about trying desserts with chopped nuts in, as was I. I think this could be made clearer for people with specific allergies - especially nut based ones. Unsurprisingly, being July, the pool area was pretty busy. There was one main pool for families etc and another, further down the path to the beach, for adults. We spent all our time at the main pool and we never had a problem getting sunbeds together (we needed about 5, at least). We often found that we had to be further back from the pool because people booked the closest ones at early doors, but it didn’t bother us at all. The beds were really comfy and all had parasols, which were needed in the scorching heat! It was so hot that the main pool felt more like a warm bath by 4pm, but it was still nice to paddle about in. Speaking of paddling, sadly my 6 yr old daughter was too small to stand up in the shallow end so she found it difficult to play any games unless she was standing on the step

Amazing stay! The hotel is exceptional, staff are very friendly, rooms are very clean and food is amazing. the staff went above and beyond to ensure that the hotel was kept to a high standard. the rooms were great clean and big but most of all cool ! however the shower was a bit on the small side but perfectly usable and clean. Entertainment staff were a highlight of our stay always encouraging to play the hotel sports Darts,boles,table tennis but most importantly water polo! - (mon the non bands) when we stayed the entertainment at night was outside and was great especially karaoke and the tribute acts. Food - the bar staff work tirelessly to ensure that everything is running smoothly big mention to Bibo for the excellent and funny service he provided throughout our stay the food is amazing and had massive varieties each night witch was a nice touch. the chefs always made sure everything was fresh and replenished when needed. the hotel is a bit far away from anything, we requested a taxi at reception and within 10 minutes each time it arrived costing only about 10-15 euros each way. on our last day you have to check out of our room by 12:00 this was a slight issue as our flight was at 11:05 and were left without a room to shower or cool off so we were advised to use the spa showers however the frequent use led these to be not great. but usable. the option to book a room until 6:00 was not an option as the hotel was fully booked. overall this hotel is amazing and would definitely recommend staying here thanks to all there staff for their contentious efforts to ensure the hotel is kept to a great standard.

The staff are absolutely amazing at this hotel and made our holiday a brilliant experience. Too many to mention by name but massive thanks to Anastasia, George, Lorena and Dan for taking such good care of us. Table/sun lounger service means you can really relax - no really long queues at the bar. They also bring around water melon and frozen yoghurt in the afternoon which is a really lovely touch. Honestly, the staff cannot do enough for you at this hotel. I've been on a lot of holidays and can't get over how friendly, hard working and helpful they all were. They are constantly working, making sure everything is perfect and always do it with a smile. You see the manager at all times of the day walking around and making sure everything is as it should be. The entertainment team are all great and all made time to go around and chat to everyone at the pool. Alina in the kids club is amazing! My kids loved her, and they never usually want to go to the kids' club on holiday, and I felt that they were in safe hands when they were there. The food was also great. Plenty of choice and the head chef, Demitrius, was so good at making sure my mum was happy and catered for as she is gluten free. We were here for 10 days and she was absolutely delighted with the food. Comfiest sun loungers ever! The hotel is very clean. There are different areas in the hotel you can go to depending on what you want - the busy pool with aqua aerobics, water polo etc, the quiet pool or the loungers looking onto sea for total tranquility. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the air con and shower in our room weren't great and were both in need of an upgrade. I think the air con is better in some rooms than others so may not have been an issue for everyone.
