Went to check in was given a double room not Deluxe Double Room, we paid for the deluxe double room for the use of a bath as unable to use a shower due to disabilities. We also found out in our double room the toilet wasnt working and reported it to reception. The reception told me a plumber would be out to fix between . 4.pm and 5.30 however this was not fixed at all and i had to keep asking . They informed me that it was ok for the night but it wasnt working at all i had to manually fill the cistern up with the shower head . Totally unacceptable.

Lovely break away
We stay in the Jethro room. Which was lovely. Would say due to the size of the room and also the bathroom ( with separate shower and claw footed tub !) could almost be classed as an apartment.
We are in the red lion on the evening and the food was cooked perfectly. The pub itself is lovely with little nooks, and the garden area is great too. Only thing I would say is the pub did have a chill in the evening and could have benefited from having the fireplaces lite ( which would have also added to the atmosphere)
Breakfast in the morning again was done very well very attentive staff.
We would definitely stay again

Terrible
Have stayed here a few years ago, which was lovely, but this time was terrible, the pub itself was dirty and unwelcoming, bins outside were filthy and rubbish in the car park, .Staff tried their best but had no idea what was going on, we did not get in the room until 4.30pm, after looking for the keys, the room was not the one we had booked, but was clean enough,

Lovely area in the Cotswolds, quirky pub with so much potential, short staffed, wood burner no attempt to create an atmosphere to light it, room bed made up with no linen, no duvet cover, no bed sheets, no pillow cases, no shower floor mat, no hand towels, no amenities, no milk. Lovely quirky room just lacking care and attention. Very disappointed overall such potential for this place

Room was lovely apart from couldnt turn radiator down as thermostat valve broken. Also breakfast was a disapointment no cereal or fresh food u asked what wanted. I had scrambled egg hardly anything on plate.
