Enjoyed the greenery and cool air of the gardens with the sound of the sea in the distance. A sense of luxury in the layout of the dining area and the lounge and bar area. After lunch walked to view the beach from the boardwalk.

Beautiful big room with outside shower. The outside shower area can be full of leaves and branches on a windy day and I would advise more frequent attention to that. The service needs some attention. Good food. I think that there needs to be more information given to people about the danger of crossing the river close by the hotel as we experienced great difficulty crossing when the tide is in.

The property is in a beautiful location with access to a beautiful beach. Gardens/pathways are well maintained.
The spa is excellent.
Small problem areas are - teapot in room still full of old tea/rust colored water in the kettle/wooden ***** above the lounge curtain fell off/dinner was mediocre (risotto was terrible - stodgy lump)/back of house area behind our villa had garbage lying around.
Devil is in the details.

Ah, the gift that never stops giving! Uncle André, Chef Zikhona, Elvis, and the entire Prana Lodge team—thank you for orchestrating an extraordinary journey filled with unforgettable surprises. You made us feel like both royalty and cherished family, wrapping us in warmth and wonder. This trip was not only much needed but far exceeded all expectations! The team at Prana anticipated and catered to our every possible need and want. The food was phenomenal, the team was welcoming and friendly - the Wellness Centre was out of this world and the views! Oh my word! A truly unforgettable experience! Thank you for the fabulous getaway. ☀️

Prana is always lovely, but there are adjustments that can be made to improve which I also gave to the team directly and via the survey. The experience was great other than the fact that we had to wait for our steam session because it was assumed we would get into the sauna first. Asking beforehand would help. The fish at the restaurant could have done with better and more seasoning.

Prana Lodge is a great little gem on the Eastern cape with a beautiful coastal location. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable but the food in the restaurant was out of this world. It is Michelin star worthy! The staff are incredibly friendly and the services offered at the spa were superb. If you want to spoil yourself, stay here!
