Mijn ouders zijn gisteravond aangekomen voor een verblijf van 7 nachten. Het ontbijt deze morgen was allesbehalve : weinig kaas en geen charcuterie. Nog nooit zoiets meegemaakt. Ze deden ter plaatse ook al hun beklag naar ik hoor. Morgenochtend hopelijk beter.

Un accueil sympathique lors de notre arrivée. Une chambre correcte. Mais au moment du petit déjeuner une vrai déception. La machine à jus d’orange pressé ne fonctionne pas ( il n’y a soi disant plus d’orange), un seul type de pain ( une baguette décongelée) pas de choix de laitage. Nous avons l’habitude de séjourner au ibis style de Contres Cheverny et il y a vraiment un écart de qualité. Imconprehensible quand on est dans la même chaîne d’hôtel!!!

Fidèles clients des hôtels du groupe Accor, nous sommes déçus. Hôtel correct mais extérieur vieillissant. Piscine agréable. Mais le personnel est exécrable. Jamais vu ça. Accueil froid , à la simple demande " comment se passe la commande de plats en " snacking" ( pizza ou salade mais pas au restaurant). La réponse a été " quand j'ai le temps!!!!) D'autres clients étrangers ont eu la même réponse en demandant une boisson. Au petit déjeuner, plus rien à 7h45. Plus de cake, plus d'orange pour la machine à jus d'orange, chaque client obligé de demander un bol ou un verre. Je rejoins un avis qui parle de la tenue vestimentaire des professionnels...difficile de savoir si c'est un client qui vient de se réveiller ou un membre du personnel.

A l'occasion de notre participation au Chinon Classic, notre séjour de 2 nuits (20/21 et 21/22/06/2025) dans la chambre n° 2 au RDC coté parking : le mobilier de la mini terrasse est sale et plein de toiles d’araignées, les serviettes de bain ainsi que le tapis de sol trempé n’ont pas été changés malgré, comme indiqué, les avoir déposés dans la douche à l’italienne pour être remplacés ainsi qu’une poubelle n’a pas été vidée. De plus, il n’y avait qu’un seul cintre … un peu « short » pour 2 personnes. Nous avons du réclamer le changement de toutes ces serviettes de bain et demander une recharge du gel de douche vide à notre arrivée. C’est incroyable pour un hotel Ibis Styles !!!! En bref, les prestations de service n’ont pas été à la « hauteur » du montant facturé au MAXIMUM du prix affiché dans cette chambre à savoir 133€/ nuité et pour une raison inconnue plus cher la 2ème nuit de 8€ . En réaction à notre interrogation sur cette facturation, l’explication donnée a été très alambiquée !!! pour finir par le remboursement des 8€ avec une proposition d’un petit déjeuner en chambre (un croissant à pate molle, insuffisamment cuit à notre avis) .

Very tired hotel despite beautiful location. This was. the third time we had booked the hotel but will certainly NOT be booking again! Two weeks ago on our way through France, our room was not up to standard, with no hand wash in the bathroom and a very mouldy shower. We had booked to stay on our return only to find a lot of the very limited menu was not available. We ordered one starter and two main courses+ two half carafes of wine and had expected to enjoy our meal with suitable service. However after two hours our table hadn't even cleared , let alone were we offered dessert so we decided to leave the restaurant. I did complain to the receptionist about the bad service. There was no response! I would not recommend this hotel, even for one night! Such a shame as it could offer so much more.

When you have an upset tummy in the night & need to use the loo several times, a scenario you do not want to encounter is a shortage of toilet paper. On arrival & before the emergence of the upset tummy, I'd noticed the 2 rolls of toilet paper in the loo looked like they were coming to the end. There was no spare in the bathroom & no box of tissues. To put not too fine a point on it, I was glad I had a few sheets of kitchen towel left over from a picnic, which I had to resort to. Calling housekeeping on the phone, in French, for more toilet paper whilst occupied with tummy pain, wasn't an option. So nil points for Ibis housekeeping. Also disappointing, as this was not a cheap overnight stop, was that no tea/coffee making facilities were privided in the room. You had to go down to reception to use the kettle tucked away in the corner for making drinks. Nice location by river with plenty of trees & a pleasant 15 minute walk into town. But overall disappointing & not equipped to standard expected for price paid. Wouldn't use Ibis chain again.

Endroit très calme proche du centre ville à pied. Aucun problème de stationnement. Repas du soir correct avec service parfait. Literie confortable et chambre très propre. Sas séparant la chambre du couloir permettant une bonne isolation. Petit déjeuner continental normal.
