Atlantic Shores Inn and Suites

Nice clean motel. Fully accessible room with fridge, micro, coffee maker. Good A/C, very comfy bed. The only problem was that the hot water for shower was not very hot. Very good breakfast - hard boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt, muffins, cereal, juice, coffee. Front desk manager was very helpful. Overall, a very good value.

We stayed in July of 2023. I was traveling with my daughter and 4 grandkids. We rented 2 rooms for 1 night. We found the motel to be modestly price. There was a nice swimming pool and the free breakfast was better than expected. The rooms are a little older, as are most in this area, but they were clean and functional. The staff was accommodating and friendly.

We booked a four-night stay (Th-Mo) for a two double-bed room. The room was large and clean. The beds were comfortable with soft sheets. The tub/shower was great with good water pressure and quick hot water. The room had a good small fridge and microwave. Parking was never an issue even with lots of weekend guests. Free breakfast was adequate - wasn't expecting to have as many options as they do offer. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. Our negatives were that we were first put in a room (we fully moved in) only to discover after dinner (late) that the TV didn't work. We asked for a TV replacement so we didn't have to move to another room, but they didn't do that and instead we had to move. The fridge had to be unpacked and then repacked in new room. Staff did offer to help us move our items, but we preferred to do that ourselves. New room still had TV issues, which my husband figured out how to fix (connected improperly). New room also had a bathroom door that wouldn't fully close and main door deadbolt didn't work. There was a safety chain. Temperature control was decent. In general, we were comfortable here, but it is very aged with wavy floors and visible "fixes" to walls, shower curtain rod, etc. Clean, comfy and safe are my most important items, and this fit the bill. We love Chincoteague and try to visit as affordably as possible and Atlantic Shores met our needs.

Not bad for an economy hotel on a tourist island. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets looked like they had been balled up—very wrinkled. Shower had plenty of hot water. Location is very good, convenient to restaurants. Parking was good.

First off, we booked with *********** (now I see why it's so cheap) and when we got there they said they didn't have our reservation. The front desk arranged for us to have another room but had to check that it was "clean" first. Their definition of clean was not the same as ours. We were given the handicap room and man we felt bad for anyone who had to stay there before. The floor had obvious sink hole spots that cheap flooring had been put on top. The door latch was hanging on by one screw and when shut, there was daylight visible from 3 sides. The tv was on, which we learned was due the fact that you couldn't turn it off. The bathroom was SO disgusting we went to the dollar store and bought bleach, a mop, and flip flops for the shower. We got new sheets since neither of us would be able to sleep. The chairs had rips in them as well. We wish we read this before but shutter to think what it looked like prior to renovating it. Their was junk outside in the parking lot as well. We also bought roach traps and my boyfriend bleached the whole bathroom (toilet, shower and floor were disgusting) before we used it. Every outlet had multi-outlet extension cords in them, some of which had obvious char marks on them. We didn't even bother with the continental breakfast or pool (which is open now). Never again!

Owners really need to put some money in this place. The air conditioner was dirty and falling off the wall, no room service came and I had to go to the office to get clean towels ect. The biggest thing was a horrible bug spray in the room for the 3 days I was there.

We chose his hotel because the price was good and the location is great. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants, shops and the Black Narrows Brewery. The rooms are in need of a renovation, but were clean overall. Our only real issue was that the shower drained slowly. It also would have been helpful to have some hooks in the bathroom for hanging clothes and towels.
