Another return trip for us but more disappointing than the others. The staff were as friendly as ever, the room was spacious, the location very nice and the price acceptable. But we request an upper floor in our profile for Hampton, and we were put on the first floor with no ability to change. We also requested a water front room to avoid the unpleasant view of the fishing boat pier to the left of the hotel. But our water front room was adjacent to this unkempt pier. . . though the frontal view was of the water. The rooms still need some freshening and updating. And the breakfast offered no starch option for me as I must be gluten-free. No potatoes or gluten-free bread. We come to Chincoteague to stay at this hotel but need to reconsider our route.

Excellent Hampton Inn, wonderfull location, older but very well kept and constantly renovated, spacious rooms and bathrooms, balcony with waterview, good sleep with the fresh air and the sound of the water splashing, all areas absolutely clean, attentive extra cleaning staff in breakfast area as it should be, daily housekeeping without discussions, outstanding friendly and helpfull staff everywhere, terrific atmosphere, diamond status well appreciated with upgrade and all, completely right they won numerous prizes for best Hampton Inn in the US over years and proudly display the trophies in the restaurant. Bravo to the management and all their staff, they keep the good old (and mostly forgotten) Hilton standards high.

1 Star without even stepping on the property. I had a weekend booked here, checked in via the app the day before I was going to arrive (Thursday) as most people do, before testing positive for Covid-19 on my arrival date (Friday). Called in and the hack of a front desk manager said there was nothing they could do, as I had already checked in on the app. What a LAZY answer to use to still charge someone on a technicality. To boot, I was also charged a "no show" fee!! Which was it? Was I checked in, no help to be had, or did I not show? Garbage customer service, garage hostility solutions to a problem a customer couldn't have avoided, garbage upcharges when the hotel and the Hilton Honors 800 number was called before I "didn't show." 0/5 stars

Best place to stay, ever! Including B&B's, Airbnb, anything. Every staff member was polite, courteous, and helpful. Entire property was Spock and span, so clean. Breakfast was perfect, location beautiful, just can’t say enough about this hotel!

This hotel was beautifully located on the bay, very clean. The rooms were sized well for 4 and ALL staff extremely friendly and welcoming. The Indoor pool perfect for the kids and well kept. The breakfast was nice. Would definitely recommend.

We were very happy with our weekend stay here. We arrived from the beach after 6 pm and enjoyed the freshly baked welcome cookies at check in. They also have a 24 hour coffee bar. We went to the immaculate pool and hot tub every day after the beach, and the gym. The latter us small but adequate. Breakfast was great. Different hit food each morning, plus a nice variety of pastries, cereal, yogurt, etc plus a waffle bar.

Beautiful hotel, exceptionally friendly staff, wonderful location and extremely clean and well updated. Also, I realize that the area is pet restricted, but it adds to the experience to not have to brush pet hair off of public areas before sitting or to be sitting in a hot tub and have a strangers dog lick you in the ear (I love my pets, but yuck). The breakfast on the outer deck was wonderful and the seating area outside was a perfect spot to watch the sunset.

This hotel was fantastic. The room was spacious and clean, and had a private balcony where we could watch the incredible sunset. The staff here is phenomenal; everyone was very friendly and happy to help with anything. The breakfast was great, with a big selection of high quality foods. The tables were being cleaned as soon as they were vacated, and it is obvious that this property is very well maintained. There is a beautiful deck outside of the breakfast room, fresh cookies in the evening, beautiful landscaping....it was just very relaxing to be here, and we would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed staying at this Hampton Inn last week and would stay there again when we visit the area. Very clean hotel and excellent customer service. Convenient to restaurants. Ate at Don's Seafood (very good) and Bill's Prime Seafood and Steak (excellent.)
