Arrived and greeted by a lovely lady. The pool was great and after a big day it was a welcome sight. From there, it became a disappointment. The room was good but very dusty on skirting boards, on the bed head, on the cabinet beside the bed, on the top of wardrobe, on the light,food splatter in microwave, food behind the microwave, fly screen not attached to the door so could not leave open to get a fresh breeze. The shower was small, and I had to continuously watch the toilet as the water kept flowing till ypu went back in to push the button again, dust and bugs in the light in the bathroom. I brought by this up with the owners whose response was " that should be expected, it is dusty." Yes, you can expect a bit of dustbut when you have a card stating that you has been cleaned and serviced and all doors are closed, then it should be clean. Also stated that they are starting to do deep cleans/bond cleans so it will be better next time. I showed her the clothes I had cleqning cloths covered in dust with and pictures i took of my concerns and very little interest or care for any issues. She also stated that she had heaps of cards stating how good rooms are, my only thought is it must be the ones th at have had the deep cleans. Also, if you are a light sleeper, probably not the place to stay as the train goes through at 430 in the morning and sounds like it's horn and the contract workers leave at 5 am.
