The rooms have fantastic water views. The hotel is a bit of a walk to town. About a mile and a half (30 minutes at a brisk pace) There is a good side walk all of the way and the views are nice, although it is not flat and the town is on a bit of a hill. There is a small grocery store/deli next door and a larger grocery store close by. There is also an on site restaurant and a couple of other restaurants very close. Castro is a little sleepy so the location was nice for us. Again, the views from the rooms are spectacular.

The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. I understand they have work area near the fireplace but it is also important in the room.
