Days Inn by Wyndham Childress

Comfortable beds and pillows, very clean. Check in easy, the staff (Tercia and Stephanie) were very hospitable. They both took time to help with whatever questions we had, we enjoyed visiting with them. Breakfast consist of waffles, yogurt, cereals, pastries, fruit, coffee, decafe too! Breads and more! I love the rain shower head.

This is a clean and comfortable hotel. It’s been recently updated with new floors, furniture, etc. However, the sound insulation in the building is terrible. We could hear everything going on in the next room and the hallway. At 6:30 am, it sounded like there was a major family reunion going on in the hallway. No need for an alarm clock! Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was minimal but OK. I’d pass on this one on my next trip.

I had called a week in advance, requested room 118 or at least one on that side and downstairs. Did online check in and requested the same. When we arrived, the only room available was room 101 on the highway side. Very noisy. The rooms are always clean but the extra lock on the door was broken off the wall, the lock on the bathroom door was half broken, looks like the bathroom must have flooded at one point. I plugged my phone and watch into the outlet next to the usb ports and neither charged so it must not work. Had to unplug the clock radio because no matter what I did it would start making a static noise about every 10 minutes. Thought it was an alarm but the alarm was turned off. I will continue to stay there because I usually have a better experience but I will request NOT to be in room 101.

Overall everything was very pleasant. Clean, nice staff, very accommodating, very friendly, good breakfast. For just an overnight stay it was perfect. We were able to get settled and go out to the pool and hot tub for very relaxing evening. Quiet, perfect to get a good night sleep.

This is a wonderful place to stay and I will stay again in the future. The staff was kind and professional. The room was clean.

I so badly wanted to leave 5 stars for this hotel. The desk lady was super sweet! The hotel was fresh and clean and not all beat up like a lot of busy highway hotels. In fact, the actual hotel was perfect BUT, the road noise is so so bad. I had ear plugs and a white noise app on my phone that I used to block the noise. Getting a good night sleep is tough due to the noise. It’s on a very busy road that is a route for 18 wheelers. I think I could literally throw a rock into the road from my room. That’s how close the vehicles are that drive by. Other than that, everything was perfect.
