Thank you for saving our trip! Lovely hotel, beautiful furniture and surroundings, most friendly welcoming and since we had had such an awful 1st night somewhere else we couldn't have asked for more. The room was fab spacious and most importantly cool! We had breakfast 2 morning and couldn't have asked for more, especially a good coffee and hot chocolate for my son.

✨ An Unexpected 5-Star Experience ✨ I don’t usually write hotel reviews, but this stay absolutely deserves recognition. From the moment I arrived, I was treated like a VIP—personally greeted, my bag carried, and even shown to my room. The level of customer service was on par with a five-star hotel. I was initially unsure about the restaurant, especially since I couldn’t find a menu online—but wow, was I blown away. Every bite was perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and the whole meal just melted in my mouth. Even breakfast the next morning was absolutely smashing. The cook not only delivered a delicious start to the day but also greeted me goodbye with such warmth—it genuinely felt like leaving a friend’s home. Honestly, he deserves a Michelin star. Highly recommended for anyone who values top-notch service and exceptional food.

Arriving to this hotel gave me ‘warm and fuzzys’. It’s a beautiful small hotel with classic decor and there is plenty of parking. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Also we were given yummy homemade biscuits at check in The room was cosy with sash windows and a huge whirlpool bathtub in the bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Downstairs there is a lovely bar area to sit and relax and also a pool table. The weather wasn’t great so didn’t enjoy the garden but it is well kept and would be perfect on a nice day. Breakfast was great!! The chefs homemade croissants were amazing!! My husband had a full English and was impressed. We will absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Staff, food and service was highest standard. I was there for my daughters wedding. Which was run smoothly and to perfection from morning, noon and night. The manager Eddie went above and beyond. His commitment and service was superb. So thank you for memorable 2 night stay at the Brook Hall Hotel. I highly recommend it to all. I will be staying again

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Brook Hall Hotel and on each occasion have been impressed with the quality of the service and accommodation. For us it is a really handy stopover ahead of getting the ferry and is so much better than any alternatives! It is such a lovely location and grounds, and the staff are excellent. The restaurant is great, delicious meal and good value. We will definitely be back

Ok for the price but shabby round the edges
The hotel is nice enough. The receptionist and waiter were super efficient and friendly.
The food was mediocre. When i booked a table for 7.30 the chef was a little perturbed as he had a party to cater for at the same time.
The room was a good size but in need of redecorating or at least touching up.
They have a water heater rather than a kettle in the room which makes for awful tea.
The TV is a very upmarket all singing all dancing one that needs a technical degree to use. I watched tv on my phone in the end, it was easier.
My room had a spa bath but when i tried to fill it nothing came out of the hot tap. It dawned on me in the morning that i could have filled the bath from the shower, but too late by then!
The showrr however did have really good water pressure.

Property is located in a lovely area bar the camp of caravans located right next to it. They had music playing very loud long into the night.
Property could definitely do with some new mattresses and the breakfast was not great at all and left a lot to be desired for the price.

I stayed here the night before I ran an ultra marathon so was after a peaceful nights sleep. The hotel didn’t disappoint, very comfy bed with quiet country surroundings and very clean facilities. Only negative is lack of shops nearby.
