My first time staying at the Hotel Diamond and I was extremely impressed. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable and bar/restaurant nice and convenient. You can’t beat the location as well. More expensive than the other hotels in the area but worth the difference. I’ll definitely stay at the Diamond again.

Let someone else into the suite we booked before we arrived. Charged our room for extras we never consumed! When we arrived, they accidentally checked another guest into our Suite. They went upstairs to see who was in our suite, but no one answered. We asked to be moved to a different, comparable suite. They moved us to a suite overlooking the plaza. For anyone familiar with the City Plaza Park in Chico, you know it’s noisy due to transients unfortunately. But…No big deal - we were celebrating our anniversary and decided to make the best of it! But then…. After double checking my credit card day later, they charged us $54 for “in room wine”, which we NEVER even saw in the room! Let alone drank! Waiting to see if they reverse the charges. Last time I’ll ever stay there. It was pretty sad actually. We do a lot of travel and never had anything like this happen.

The Hotel Diamond never disappoints! The decor is charming, the beds are amazingly comfortable, the staff is wonderful, and the location can not be beat. Highlights of this visit were Shelly the Bartender... made a delicious and also beautiful espresso martini (pic attached), and the complimentary breakfast buffet... Chef made an everything scramble with potatoes that were just perfection.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this beautiful hotel for the second time. The staff was great and the breakfast was fantastic. Thank you Hotel Diamond for coming through for us again.

Beautiful hotel. We were in a handicapped room. I would recommend a couter top vanity mirror. The wall mount is useless for someone in a wheelchair. Also the large size chair next to the entrance to the bathroom was in the way for making it through to the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was great. More fruit would have been nice and maybe some muffins. Thank you.

Amazing place! Very clean. Spacious rooms. Easy to find and has free parking for hotel guests. Lots of place to eat close by, including an onsite restaurant .

I love this hotel. The location is perfect. The historical decor is gorgeous, the staff is pleasant, hopeful and accommodating. It is quiet and extremely clean and well maintained. They offer free, convenient parking and restaurant and bar attached to the hotel. Highly recommend.

Room 409 is a king premium room in a quiet part of hotel on the top (4th) floor looking out over the top of parking structure. Has a handheld shower head mounted directly overhead.
