This had to be the top 3 worst rooms I have ever stayed in at a Marriott property. I stayed in room 317. There were two windows, and in each, there were "in window" air units. Both units appeared to be put in with paper and tin foil. I could hear every word and noise coming from the outside. There were shades on the window, but you could not close them if you wanted the air to come into the room. I was forced to work with the sun in my face, or have the room be extremely hot. At night, I was kept awake late by the group down at the pool/bbq area. Not that they were being overly loud, but because my windows were basically open to noise. These temporary and horrible in window units are not acceptable. I will never stay at this property again. Completely unacceptable.

Staff was nice, but the room was noisy since it was near traffic. The bed was not comfortable at all, but I don't like hard beds. The appliances were a bit outdated and the free breakfast was not very good unfortunately,

Wow, got to say this Hotel is amazing, I had a great experience really enjoy our stay here clean rooms great staff great food. Front Agent deliver great service we are really happy we will return soon. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

When is a confirmed reservation not a confirmed reservation? At Residence Inn by Marriott Chico, CA. Beware. I booked a 2 bedroom suite handicapped accessible shower for myself and my 80 year old mother. I booked the reservation April 7, 2022 for a stay July 28-31 20022 and received verbal and email confirmations. On July 15, 2022 I received a phone call saying my reservation 13 days away could not be honored as they had guests extending their stays and could not offer any solutions. So, from my first hand experience your reservation and confirmation mean nothing at this hotel. Just beware.

The people working here were the nicest and most helpful ever. Cash and Grace both made us feel very welcome and wanted. The hotel was quiet and the space very nice. And the people made it! Thank you for a very nice stay.

This is a Residence Inn without the latest logo or decor design, and that’s fine. AC was frigid and I don’t think controllable, but not an issue with blankets. Illuminated sign was outside the window and curtain did not fully block its light. Road noise was obvious. Car-dependent location. Nothing great or bad about this property. I’d stay here again.
