The hotel is in the city center, surrounded by many hotels and office buildings. It is very close to Millennium Park and the Art Museum of Chicago, within a 10-minute walk, and the Chicago train station is also a 10-minute walk.
There is a subway station in front of the hotel, and it is only three stops to Chinatown by red line.

The hotel is great. I'm German and American-style hotels sometimes take some getting used to. The JW is top notch, though! The staff is always professional and polite.
Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, so there's no breakfast buffet.
There are no wardrobes in the standard rooms.
I'd be happy to stay there again, especially since I booked at a fairly reasonable price.
