The room is clean and comfortable, and there is a large bathtub for taking a bath. However, please note that toothbrushes are not provided. You may need to ask at the counter yourself. Since I brought it myself, I didn’t ask.
In addition, the breakfast restaurant is right opposite Alishan Station. After watching the sunrise and taking the train, I just had breakfast and went back to the room to catch up on some sleep.

I’ve booked room for six pax and room was quite good. Only issue was that the shower/toilet area was narrow and the water splashes out and it can be slippery. Check in is strictly at 3pm and breakfast area is at one of the shop located outside the hotel.

The room is ok. It's well located. They have a shuttle bus service from-to the bus station but you have to ask for it, calling them. Bear in mind they don't speak English so try your luck or ask somebody to call them for you when you get there. You need to wait for them at the 7-Eleven, or I did so.

If you have never stayed in a youth hostel, you may not be used to it. Fortunately, we stayed in a four-person room. In fact, it was just right for two people. The facilities of the old hotel are extremely simple and there is a lot of room for improvement.
The location is very good, and it is very free and convenient to get in and out by car. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk. You don’t have to wait for the shuttle bus, which saves a lot of time.

The front desk staff were not friendly, neither smiled nor greeted. Breakfast was served in a different restaurant, and even though we were with an elderly person, there were no signs to guide us to the place, even though there were stairs, so we wandered around looking for a way without stairs.
The elderly person said that the price was high, the service was bad, and that it was the first time they had stayed in a hotel like this. I will never go there again.

There was mold everywhere in the room and in the bathroom. The bathroom stank of sewage. I would never choose the hotel again. I felt uncomfortable in the room.
