We were late in booking hotel rooms in Alishan and this was the only hotel which has rooms. Initially, we have booked a quadruple Room gor 2 adult sons but they got the order wrongly. So they have to fit in a double room with extra bed which is a mattress on the floor. There was a bad smell which was like a sewage. It may come from outside but was a very bad experience. Rooms are dirty and very outdated. No shower curtain for the shower with bath. The only good things are the bed and quilt.

Rooms are tight and small, so I wouldn't stay too long, but well situated. Short walk from the bus depot (down a hill, up a hill, down a hill) and then a short walk to the Forest Railway (up a hill, down a hill, up a hill). Alishan Village itself is nothing to write home about, so in terms of nice, clean, and great front desk staff, this place worked for the short visit to Alishan.
