This resort is a good 40 minute walk away from the main attractions of Chiang Rai, but tuktuks are freely available for inexpensive rides to or from the city. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, comfortable and situated in delightful grounds. The main reception area doubles as the restaurant and again is delightful and is just 30 seconds away from the pool area. The breakfast was very good and included in the price and the menu for other meals was delicious and very affordable. The staff were friendly and helpful- if you’re interested in any tours or activities or need onward transport, they’re great at arranging things

I don't want to penalize a structure but I personally didn't like it. The rooms are dated, poorly lit and there are no sockets on the bedside tables. The bathroom had a door that didn't stay open and it didn't have a shower. I didn't like the breakfast either. Too Jurassic Park. Of course it is characteristic that the rooms are surrounded by greenery but I found the inconvenience more than the characteristic. The place where breakfast is served is outdoors and full of flies. Last thing, the 200 baht deposit for the room key incomprehensible. The swimming pool is good, and the services offered such as bicycles.

Lovely gardens, clean basic rooms, wonderful pool and restaurant. BUT we were shocked that an “eco-lodge” would offer cruel elephant rides. This is completely unacceptable, especially since there are many opportunities to ethically observe elephants in their natural environment (such as Chang Chill in Chiang Mai). I hope the hotel takes this feedback on board. Also a bit disappointing to see the fish pond - again, it is lovely, but not enough space for the 5 GIANT catfish that live there, they can’t even swim.

This small resort in Chiang Rai gives the illusion of staying in a forest even though the city center is not far away. After leaving the large (free) car park you arrive in the hotel lobby which consists of a large wooden workstation under the large canopy which also serves as a restaurant. The bungalows, on the other hand, are scattered around, surrounded by greenery. The interior of the accommodation is very nice, new and well furnished. Perhaps the only flaw is the size, which is not excessive, and the visible television channels which, at least in our case, were close to 0 (sometimes you managed to catch something but it depended a lot on luck and/or the weather). The resort offers guests a beautiful swimming pool and a restaurant. The first evening we ate in the hotel and the experience was very satisfying. The breakfast, served as a buffet and with a dish that can be ordered and prepared expressly, is also very good.
