This was my first stay in Chiang Rai, and I thought the location was convenient, with a 7-Eleven right outside the premises, and restaurants and coin laundries nearby. The pool was a little dirty and a bit muddy, but if you don't mind that, it's fine.
As for the rooms, they are old, so it's inevitable that some small insects will appear in some rooms. The rooms are kept clean.
Also, all the staff were smiling and helpful with anything. I'd like to stay here again.

My experience at Diamant Hotel in Chiang Rai
I stayed at Diamant Hotel in Chiang Rai and I can say that it was a pleasant experience. The location is perfect: close enough to the center to easily reach restaurants and markets, but far enough away to ensure tranquility and relaxation. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and I appreciated the presence of everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
One of the highlights was the breakfast: rich and varied, with both local and international dishes. A great way to start the day with energy.
The pool is a nice added value, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
