I stayed at Travelodge Nimman during my recent trip to Chiang Mai and had a very enjoyable time overall. The first thing I noticed was the excellent location of the hotel. It’s within walking distance to Nimmanhaemin Road, where there are countless cafés, restaurants, and shops, yet it’s tucked just enough away from the busiest part to feel a bit calmer. Getting to and from the airport was very convenient, taking only about 20 minutes by car. For me, this balance between accessibility and comfort was one of the highlights of my stay, as it made exploring the city so much easier without feeling too far from the action.
The hotel itself is modern and stylish, with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. My room was spacious enough, with comfortable bedding, good air conditioning, and all the essentials I needed, including a fridge, toiletries, and reliable Wi-Fi. The housekeeping team did a great job keeping everything tidy throughout my stay, and I always came back to a neat, refreshed room. I also enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool, which had a lovely view and felt like a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The fitness center, while not very large, had just enough equipment for a quick workout, which I appreciated.
The staff at Travelodge Nimman were friendly and helpful whenever I needed assistance. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, and the overall service left a good impression on me. The breakfast offered by the hotel was decent, though I felt it could be improved in terms of variety and taste. Some mornings, food items seemed to run low if you came later, so it’s better to head down early. It wasn’t bad, but compared to the other great food available around Chiang Mai, it felt average.
One thing worth mentioning is that the location can be a bit noisy depending on which room you get. Since the hotel is not too far from the airport, you can occasionally hear airplanes, and there was also some construction noise during my stay. It didn’t completely ruin the experience, but if you’re sensitive to sound, I’d recommend requesting a quieter room. Also, while the amenities like the pool and gym are nice, they are on the smaller side, so they might feel limited if you’re expecting something more extensive.
Overall, I would say Travelodge Nimman is a solid choice for anyone wanting a modern, comfortable stay in a great location in Chiang Mai. It isn’t perfect, but the positives definitely outweighed the negatives for me. The combination of good service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location made my trip much smoother and more enjoyable. I would happily consider staying here again on my next visit, especially if I could secure a quieter room with a nice view.
It's in a good location for Nimman and getting out to the west of the city. Rooms are basic, which you'd expect for the price, but the hotel feels a little run-down.
Spotless room clean linens and toilet. Although the toilet pipe has bad odor, they provided scents that would eliminate the stink. The location is perfect walking distance to Maya Mall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

the room is super clean, not the mentioned there’s no deposit for staying here, free bottles of mineral water in fridge and the room, and they replenish for free everyday upon cleaning the room. The room even have a ventilation, so your room won’t stink even if you were to eat any takeaways. What’s more great is the location, just 5 mins away from 7-11 and super convenient to get grab to the hotel, it’s like 15-20mins away from good eateries as well as cafes that is popular. If you don’t mind travelling 15-20mins to a location, I think it’s good for u. Because it’s not easy to travel around here except for grabbing or you booking a motorcar/scooter.
The place is nice and clean. Good size, and comfortable. The AC worked without any issues and there's an air purifier as well. The room even has a small balcony which I didn't expect. Nice place to relax for a while. There is free cold water near the front desk which is a plus, and the coffee that came with the included breakfast was good also. Don't have any complaints. Overall, would recommend.
The room is spacious and clean. The staff, a young lady with fair skin, provided excellent service, always helpful and attentive in solving any problems. However, the room does let in noise from the outside quite easily. But considering the price, the room is clean, the bed and pillows are comfortable, so overall it's okay.
the room is very clean, the owner is nice, the location is very good,it is easy to find food next to the back of the university, convenient transportation, and the security is excellent.
I booked a room for my friend/s. We all stayed together at Phusiang place. Me and ny friends had a comfortable stay at our designated rooms. We had nice bed, good working ac and no issues with the amenities and or the staff during our stay. It has good location too.Overall, it was a great place to stay and very budget friendly.😀
The resort is a wonderful getaway, surrounded by lush greenery and a serene, back-to-nature atmosphere. The sound of the water fountain adds a calming touch, making it a relaxing retreat. It’s a great choice for families with kids, as the converted kids’ room (formerly the TV room) was cozy and well-suited for little ones.
Breakfast was delightful, offering a Zen-like experience that complemented the tranquil surroundings.
However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The staircase leading to the toilet was slightly hazardous, as the carpet placed at the last step caused my daughter to trip and fall. Additionally, we had sleepless nights due to dust mites. While the first night brought a few bites, the second night was unbearable with severe irritation.
Despite these issues, the overall experience was positive, and the resort’s charm and natural ambiance stood out.

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe house is specious and spotless. has four bedrooms with private bathrooms, it makes us very convenient. We have a perfect staying here. It's near everything you need. Walk to Nimman road only 10 mins. The pool is clean and big for my family and we have good time using the barbecue . Host is helpful and respond promptly. recommended!!
GGuest UserI just fell in love with this hotel. There is a purchasing shop next to the hotel. After checking in, I went out and bought a lot of things. Although the room is not big, it is very cozy and hot water is provided all day long. The wireless network signal is also very good! There are many temples around, and the environment is very quiet when resting at night. This hotel makes me very satisfied. I will choose this hotel when I come to visit in the future.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very nice to stay. Near Maya, Tawan Daeng University, good atmosphere, clean rooms, comfortable beds, good view, come to Chiang Mai again, will definitely come back to stay here. Very impressed Please continue to keep this cleanliness.
RRattyEveryWhereIt is a small homey accommodation, 1 booth, with a cafe in front. There is another 1 separate bathroom, complete female port equipment.
But the living space inside the bed is a little too small The light in the bed is a little dark. But the kitchen zone in the middle is very good, there are eggs, bread, butter, fruit to eat at any time.
Feel at home, friendly
SSabine SchA truly wonderful hotel in a beautiful neighborhood. We loved everything about this place, with its superb ambiance. The food was outstanding - simply incredible! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
The only drawback was the limited number of loungers by the pool. It sometimes happens that guests cannot use the pool area all day because other guests reserve the loungers even when they're not at the pool. This is quite unfortunate.
Otherwise, this hotel is absolutely recommended!
MManwikaFrom the first accommodation and I am fascinated Therefore come to rest often, like the peace, the bathroom is wide, the shower water is strong, very hot, the mattress is soft but not crunchy, sleep comfortably, the people next to it do not shake, if going to the CMU again, will stay here (unless the room is full first. Because there are only more than 10 rooms
GGuest UserWe recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as a traveler couple. On the overall, we had a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The hotel was clean, which is always a plus, and considering the price, we felt it offered good value for our stay.
However, there were a few drawbacks. The sound insulation could definitely be improved, as we could hear everything from the rain to our neighbors, and even the planes flying overhead. Additionally, there was a slight smell of cigarette smoke at times, and the rooms could have benefited from a bit more natural light.
Despite these issues, we enjoyed our time here and appreciated the cleanliness and the overall experience. Thank you for a nice stay!
SSijieVery affordable price, the surrounding looks very tranquil and pretty. Swimming pool is big enough. Walking distance to Chiang Mai university and the night market behind the university.
But unfortunately so far these are all advantages.
The cleanliness of the room was really below the standard, we found plenty of cocoons on the wall and some dead bugs? ( very unpleasant). There was only one trash can for the whole room, so we need to go all the way to the toilet to throw away the trash.
Reception staff looks like they don’t want to be at work at all.
