Hotels in Sunday Walking Street, Chiang Mai

This is my third trip to Thailand! My previous visits to Bangkok and Phuket eight years ago were both fantastic experiences. This hotel stood out as one of the more luxurious buildings on the street, which is notable considering Chiang Mai's charmingly retro and rustic aesthetic as a smaller city. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always greeting us politely each day – the kind of excellent service that's truly a hallmark of Thai hospitality. I particularly enjoyed the hotel's pool. The surrounding area is vibrant, with numerous Western restaurants and brunch spots. You'll also find plenty of 'down-to-earth' local stalls selling fresh fruit, BBQ, delicious papaya salad, and Roti (Thai-style pancakes). Additionally, there are several authentic Thai restaurants nearby. **Facilities:** While they were a *touch* dated, it's entirely understandable for a smaller city like Chiang Mai. **Cleanliness:** Housekeeping did a phenomenal job; our room was always meticulously cleaned and tidied before we returned each day. **Ambiance:** Both the pool area and the corridors were incredibly photogenic, perfect for snapping some great pictures.

I need to say was okey for 2 nights but nothing special at all ! I think you can book with less money in a better place. But overall was clean, the people was nice and has a good location.

The hotel is situated near the largest and oldest temple in Old Town. We arrived early from the railway station, and the reception kindly accommodated our request for an early check-in since the room was available, which made our day more enjoyable and our travel smoother. The pool was nice, but unfortunately, the weather was too cool for swimming. Overall, the service was excellent.

3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, 1 kitchen. Comfort living area and dining. Stay 5 people for business trip. Very comfortable to use living and dining area to be working space together.

Really good. I stayed for 9 more days, 18 days before and after. clean. The hotel has an atrium and my room has a small terrace to make people lie quiet. Near the pedestrian street, there are several specialty restaurants around, Cafe, especially Khao Soi of Stories Restaurant, go back to eat three days a week, a small chicken leg in the fragrant soup, every time I drink the soup. I saw the guests several times and ordered this Thai special noodles. There are 7-11 nearby, which is very convenient. Water and coffee tea, bicycles are free, and one copy of the document is free. Rent 50 baht for bicycles outside, and 10 baht for water.

The hotel is located in the center of the city, the Chedi Luang Temple is just outside the alley, transportation, shopping, and dining are very convenient. The room is in the alley, which is not easy to find for the first time, but this place is very quiet. The front desk and room service are very good. It’s not too accustomed to take off your shoes when you enter the door. You have to bring a pair of slippers. Otherwise, you will fall down when you wear the slippers provided by the hotel. Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, it is still acceptable. .

The authentic Lanna style hotel is simple, natural and fresh. The eldest brother, a programmer, started the construction by collecting wood. There are currently 6 Lanna double-storey wooden houses. Taxis can go directly to the door, and there is also a small parking lot. Located in the core area of ​​the ancient city, it is quiet and elegant in the bustling environment. I learned from an introduction to small boutique hotels with Southeast Asian characteristics 13 years ago that this is a green and sustainable hotel. For me, the room is comfortable and full of green plants, the local breakfast is exquisite and delicious, and the service is warm and thoughtful, just like returning home. On weekdays, the second sister and the third brother of the store are responsible for guiding the employees to take care of every guest in the store. We like the feeling of entering the house with slippers, and like to go to the bathroom barefoot on the second floor to wash. The air conditioning in the room is excellent, the lighting is warm and comfortable, and there will be a quietness of hitting banana leaves when it rains. There are two particularly cute cats in the yard. One is called Lulu, who likes to sleep and maintain order in the restaurant. The other white bully is the cat king of this area. It likes to wait for me to come home at the door of my room to say hello to me and seriously protect my shoes. It was raining when I left. The waiter came to the second floor to help me carry my luggage downstairs and walked to the parking lot to deliver it to the car. He never let the suitcase fall to the ground! There is a spectacular water bar where you can choose your own tea and boil water to make tea. There are hammocks in the yard for rest. There are small water features with fish and three little turtles. In the morning, the roosters from the neighbor's house next door crow early, and at night, I watch the squirrels and birds on the balcony to accompany me to sleep. This is a place you don't want to leave once you stay here. There are very few Chinese guests. I think every programmer should come and see it and imagine their life after retirement, hahahaha

Hotel is in vintage style but it’s big room & with good air conditioning. With this economic price, including swimming pool, gym house (even not really big) we are happy & satisfied. Breakfast is simple but the service lady is good & care for customer.

Prime location with all basic needs sorted! Thankful for the flexibility and kindness extended by owner Aun, after being away 1.9years in this amazing city. Room was big as is the bed, ample room to navigate things. Hangers and amenities available, although water pressure could be stronger in bathroom. Fridge is cold, housekeeping was good too Location was perfect in between all the roads you’d wanna go- market, shops 7-11 all easy under the freaking heat. I love how cute the place is and has its own vibe, miss the black and white cat whom greeted me upon arrival and every morning after! Thank you for everything
