The hotel is right in front of the main road, where I could not stop my car to look for parking slot. The hotel signage is not clear for car owner where to park. However, they have guys that assist you on the car parking, later.
I request for a room that facing the river and need to pay extra for this. The room come with a balcony where you can enjoy the river view. The room setup look very new, aircon cool and water pressure is excellence. The service is excellent. The buffet breakfast is acceptable and good verities. The main reason I stay at Chiang Saen because it near to golden triangle and sorrounding attractions.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic . We had a suite that had fresh fruit and flowers in it , two Japanese style toilets , a HUGE bath andn2 big rooms . Also there was a microwave in the kitchen area . The staff could not have been any better . From front of house to the bell boys they were superb . The bar was run extremely well with the cocktails being made to our spec perfectly . Breakfast had a huge choice of both local and European food and the staff there were really attentive to clearing tables as well as helping with coffee etc
All in all I would happily give the whole experience 10 stars if I could .
We have already booked for next year based on our last stay
Thank all of you so much for making our stay with you such a perfect experience

I visited Chiang Mai 8 times, but it was my first time visiting this hotel. Above all, if you appreciate the active interest and response at the reception, especially PAUL. KAL. OHMY I will remember the gratitude of ohmy number 3.
The welcome gift box made me feel the dignity of a special hotel. an appropriate amount a well-managed facility Kind steps are a good asset for hotels. I will next agine see you next
PS: If there is a dinner or lunch buffet event at the hotel due to a big buyer's visit, I hope it will be promoted more.

I recently stayed at Mövenpick Suriwongse Hotel Chiang Mai and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent – right in the heart of the city, making it very convenient for exploring the night bazaar and nearby attractions.
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They also offer a complimentary sweet fondue from 5–7 pm.
The only downside for me was that the rooms feel a bit outdated and could use some refreshing. However, they were still comfortable and clean.
Overall, it’s a good choice if you’re looking for a hotel with great service and a central location in Chiang Mai.

The InterContinental Hotel's management is truly impeccable, and the service is incredibly attentive. It's also famously one of the hotels where Teresa Teng once stayed. Those interested in her history can visit her former room/suite, which is located within the hotel, though there seems to be an admission fee. A special highlight is their breakfast, which is fantastic and offers a wide variety of options. Furthermore, the hotel's environment is exceptionally peaceful and quiet. For guests who appreciate tranquility, this place is absolutely faultless.

I really like this inexpensive boutique hotel. First of all, the beautiful European style riverfront garden with an oriental waterfall pool on the side really gives this hotel a nice artsy feel. Secondarily the breakfast is well stocked with both European style pastries and Thai rice noodles. Did I mention the personal service of premium coffee that is made to order and hand delivered to the table? The traffic jam during the midday and the live music of a neighboring restaurant in the evening may be two slight downsides of the hotel.

The hotel is located in a great location, close to tourist attractions and restaurants. However, the rooms are not soundproof, and there is noise from the dining area in the morning.

The service is very good, everyone is very polite and the room is cleaned daily, bottled drinking water is supplied. The room is big, has a smart T.V. and is suitable for a small family. There is a separate dining area with kitchenette and a decent sized balcony that over looks a busy road. The bathroom is clean. There is an area to work downstairs and a piano. The only drawback is the road is very busy and noisy throughout the day and night.

The hotel was clean and in a great location, making it easy to reach Thapae Gate, the night bazaar, Chinatown, and other attractions. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The room is especially suitable for those who snore at home, because the 2-bedroom apartment has a small single room for cooking and washing clothes. There is a large supermarket a few hundred meters to the right. There is a swimming pool on the rooftop (take the last elevator in the building), a gym, a roof garden, and you can pick up takeout at the door. The takeout can be delivered to the first floor of the building. It is quite convenient. Here is a picture of the nearby shopping mall

Amazing
MMaxlinerMaladee is honestly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a small place, but super warm and welcoming. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated in a modern style, and absolutely spotless — everything felt brand new. What really stood out was the staff. They were so kind and took care of us like family.
The location was a huge plus. I’ve stayed in Nimman and the Old City before, but both felt a bit crowded and noisy. Maladee is just a short walk from Tha Phae Gate, but it feels like a peaceful resort. In the mornings, I could hear birds singing, and at night it was so quiet — I slept really well.
Another thing I loved was the free afternoon tea and the fun daily activities the hotel offers. It made the whole experience feel extra special.
It’s just a 5-minute walk to 7-Eleven, and super close to the Night Bazaar. There are lots of restaurants nearby too, including Michelin-listed ones like Ekachan restaurant. And the hotel’s own restaurant? The food was amazing!
Honestly, it was a perfect stay, and I’m already planning to come back.

Great
AAnonymous UserI was happy that water was free.
As it was a new inn, it was clean and there was no need to worry about bugs.
The people at the front desk were also nice.
However, perhaps the air conditioning was linked to the outside air, so it was hot during the day and cold in the morning.

NNanaInChinaLove this concept. The place is very clean and modern. Rooms are small, but not THAT small, perfect for solo travellers. They also have rooms with double beds, but I haven't seen them so I dunno if they are okay for couples. The bathroom is also clean. You can use the washing machines for 40baht (full cycle of 1h) and the drier for 10baht every 10 minutes, but it's very powerful. The location is great, by the night bazar, byt be aware that if there is a big match in the muay thai ring downstairs, it will get noisy until midnight. The people working there are helpful and kind.

AAbd. Syukur Abdullahnice clean hotel... affordable and budget friendly. Near Tha Phae gate.. within parameters of free pick up and drop off by most tour operators. Toilet is bit small.. mat not suitable for large sized individuals.. There is construction going on around surrounding areas in case you plan to sleep during daytime.. otherwise excellant and friendly staff.

GGuest UserWouldn’t recommend, we booked it just because other hotels were full. Staff attitude is average, price is ok but you just feel like you’re in a fight with the hotel as they ask for deposit for the room (some hotels require this) and when we checked out they made us wait so they can make sure we didn’t still anything from the room before returning our deposit. Just felt like they don’t trust their customers and didn’t feel comfortable. The room mentioned a terrace but it was actually 3 square feet with half of the space taken by air condition motor box.

GGuest UserBest thing I experienced which was not advertised was a free kitchen, where visitors cooked free breakfast and cleaned themselves. I enjoyed so much that I donated food every day to the kitchen.
The hotel don't have windows which is a negative side.
The rooms should include wardrobes and coffee tables. It's small cost but a big plus point.
I would stay here again but would choose front room which a window.

KKin OleirLocation is 10/10. The night market is less than a minute by foot away. Pillows are soft and comfortable. The pool is small. Breakfast is bare minimum. Staff are kind. It's a small hotel. Stay here for its location.. You get what you pay for. Nothing fancy.
