Very friendly and helpful staff. Welcome drink and fruits. Beautiful view from swimming pool and rooftop bar. Just the breakfast could have a bit more options because the price is big compared to the room without breakfast… I was gonna ask to cancel the breakfast but since all the staffs are very polite then I forgot about it.

This hotel was fantastic! I really appreciated the friendly service from the staff, who made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is new and looks great, providing a fresh and modern atmosphere. The area is fantastic, with plenty of good restaurants and massage places nearby. We had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend!

Love the location . Such a beautiful view close to anywhere can hear noise from outside but I use earplugs to sleep anyway . Plane noise is the thing but not too bad. Friendly staff 🫰

We enjoyed our three night stay at the hotel over the New Years holiday. The staff at check-in was friendly as expected in Thailand. The hotel lobby furniture was slightly oversized for its space as we had to walk around it to get to the elevator. Our room was comfortable and large enough for our two moderately sized suite cases. We booked a room with breakfast, which was one of the best we have had at a hotel. We each got to order a couple dishes off the menu, which were excellently presented and tasted excellent. Additionally, there was a buffet with pastries, fruits, etc. Unfortunately, due to our early schedule two of the days we could not get the hot breakfast. On our last morning they provided a packed breakfast, which was a sandwich and other less memorable food. The hot breakfast was the most memorable thing for us about the hotel. I did also like the room design. In terms of hotel location, it is fairly central with shopping malls and restaurants a 5 – 10 minute walk away. We found traffic to be really slow around New Years with lots of Thais. This was my second time to Chiang Mai with my first trip in July over a decade ago. During both trips we had a friend who lives in Chiang Mai drive us around. I would say traffic during our first trip was not memorable, unlike at New Years. This made getting to the hotel from the main street slow and it may be better to pickup taxi/grab/ride on a main street. It may also be worth checking out when busy times are in Chiang Mai to have a more enjoyable trip.

Great location with lots of small cafes and restaurants nearby. Don’t bother getting the hotel breakfast as there are so many good options in the area.
It gets pretty busy and crowded at night with lots of parties going on. So if you need a peaceful zone to be a night, this would not be the place to be.
The pools on both buildings are of the same sizes with good lengths. Can’t say much about the gym thought, it’s small and poorly equipment but that’s more or less the same you get in most hotels here.
Bathroom could do with some cotton buds and it’s annoying how the wifi keeps logging out frequently and I have to re-login every few hours.

Ideal place to stay to explore chiang mai. Highlights of the hotel were the incredibly comfortable bed and friendly service. We also had delicious welcome and farewell drinks and loved the bananas and grapes in the room upon arrival. Thank you to the restaurant manager for helping us out when we brought in a giant mango from the supermarket- they cut and boxed it to go for us after checkout 😊
If you go during rainy season, they already have two umbrellas in the room. But i wish there were pool umbrellas for outside too when it rained. Also note there is no fitness center on property.

We wanted to share our experience during our stay at your hotel. We were very impressed with everything! The accommodation was top-notch, with a clean and beautiful bedroom that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast variety was also fantastic, and we particularly loved trying out Kaeng Hang Lay, a dish whose name we were unsure but the taste is awesome. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with our stay at Moose Hotel Nimman and would definitely consider coming back to stay again. Thank you for providing us with a memorable and enjoyable experience.

The positives
Service: front desk, door men etc were very friendly and polite
Location: convenient location near the airport (15 mins away), near a shopping mall, lots of food / cafes / bars / restaurants and shops nearby at the nimman area within very short walking distance
Rooms: large, spacious, free beverage per person per night, welcome rice crackers
Negatives
1. Didn’t like the dark corridors in the hotel
2. Deluxe room was VERY dim
3. Bed was too soft and flat. Bedsheets and pillows weren’t great
4. Cleanliness was an issue. The floor and carpet didn’t feel clean but the hotel provided slippers. The worst part was the shower area 😩😩🤮🤮 mould on the floor and walls, overall grimy and slimy esp at the corners. The rest of the negatives can be overlooked but not the shower area. I literally cringed and shuddered every time I had to shower. I don’t understand how it can be so dirty?! 😩
5. The light switches were a nightmare. There were many switches at the door area and bedside (like 3 switches per side) but no instructions and they didn’t follow a pattern so you would always need to try switching on and off etc all the time just to get the room totally dark but with the bedside lamp on
6. Sounds from outside the door, next room, upstairs could be heard and it was very disturbing as the noise sounded like it was next to me all the time. There were endless footstep noises from upstairs during the night and all these noises woke me up throughout my stay. I usually sleep through the night in hotels
7. My first room, the shower area had ZERO lights and I had to bathe in literal darkness. Thankfully the front desk were very quick and efficient and got me another room to move to which was thankfully very bright with working shower lights.
8. Hotel breakfast was full of carbs and the food didn’t taste fresh or great at all :( I had spent the last 3 days at another hotel in Chiang Mai so the differences in room and bfast were really stark.
Overall, for a clean freak, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. But if you can overlook the cleanliness; the location, friendliness of staff, etc are positives you can focus on. Pics attached are of two different rooms.

This hotel is located close to 1nimman and Maya Shopping Center, so it was the best location. However, there was an incident where we had to change rooms because there were ants in the room, but they were handled quickly. I would like to praise Tiw and Ying, who were at the desk. They were very kind. I would also like to thank Tle, who kindly carried my luggage.

GGuest UserStayed a total of 7 days. The hotel certainly lived up to it's minimal concept. Everything was just perfect upon check in. Room was nice and clean, free mini bar and snacks, free beer, free wine in the evenings but that was about it. Housekeeping attendant was extremely helpful and polite but I feel that the reception could certainly be more attentive or ”passionate” (?) about what they do. I feel that they tried too hard to welcome guests during the first impression check in moment but overlooked the importance of remembering their guests after a short while (I was even asked if I wanted to check in after my second day of stay by the receptionist 😸). Some disappointment on the bike rental provider (not the hotel) as I was asked to surrender my passport as deposit. Obviously I didn't agree to this practice although I am well aware that it is quite a common practice but this is where the missed opportunity lies. I managed to get a car elsewhere for the same price without even surrendering my personal documents. The only healthy part of the breakfast spread was the orange juice. Everything else was sugary and sweet. There's danish pastries and fried Chinese dessert every morning. Certainly doesn't help that the hotel does not have any exercise facilities aside from the small, beautiful pool --- the main attraction, to be fair. The pool can become quite ”overcrowded” when the hotel capacity goes up. I appreciate the coffee machine and self-service option to fill as much as I like, on the go. There weren't enough ice on the first couple of days during my stay (all I got was a wattery bin when I opened the ice box). I wouldn't say that it was an extremely pleasant experience throughout my entire stay. There are many missed opportunities which I believe could be improved over time.

LLogan SolamanI recently stayed at October Hostel located in the vibrant Nimman area of Chiang Mai, and I must say, my experience was exceptional!
Location: The hostel's location is perfect for anyone looking to explore Chiang Mai. Nestled in the bustling Nimman neighborhood, it offers easy access to the city center and is just a short drive from the airport, making it incredibly convenient for travelers.
Host and Service: Mark, the hostel owner, was incredibly hospitable. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel welcome and was eager to share his knowledge of the city. His insights and tips on where to go and what to do in Chiang Mai greatly enhanced my experience.
Accommodations: The rooms at October Hostel are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. While I stayed in a standard room this time, I was tempted by the option to upgrade to a much larger room. Given the quality of my stay, I am definitely considering this upgrade on my next visit!
Overall Experience: I highly recommend October Hostel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Whether you’re a solo traveler or coming with friends, the combination of a great location, warm hospitality, and excellent facilities make this hostel a top choice.
Tip for Future Guests: Don’t hesitate to ask Mark for local recommendations – he truly knows the best spots in town!
Looking forward to my next stay at October Hostel, and I can’t wait to try out the larger room!

BBalublueThe hostel-style rooms are clean, easy to travel, and close to food sources. The owner is lovely. Since it is a small accommodation, you should not make loud noises that disturb others because the rooms are quite close together.

LLatteoLovely apartment. Clean, stylish. Good location. Comfortable bed, there's an air conditioner and a fan. The building itself is quite old, but the apartment is in good condition. There's a balcony. The only downside there is no stove, only a microwave

GGuest UserChecked in to the hotel after our flight and was somewhat non plussed. There is no pool, which was a surprise but one which quickly fell by he wayside. The room we were in had a small balcony, but outdoor space all the same. The room was decent sized and quickly cooled off once we got the ac going. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The roof bar and restaurant were so good that we ate every supper here. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood area with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants as well as massage locations. You can walk into the old city but a baht bus can take you there for 40 baht/person. The area is a nice and quiet compaired to old town and the more touristy areas to the east. We will definitely be back.

AaruneerarengThis hotel is very clean ✨✨, the service is very good ❤️, the waiter is hospitable and polite , the room is divided into male/female room, and family room , there are utensils, free WIFI, and we have a Thai breakfast in the morning ️. The location of the hotel is very good at No. 5 Nieman Road, Chiang Mai City. Alley, convenient travel, suitable for a group of colleagues or friends to come out to play with live together, the service fee is not expensive, value for money .............!!!!!!!!!!

TTIANOur two big two small family traveled, although it was not easy to find at the beginning, in fact, it was convenient after staying. I chose the inn that has no Chinese service, just hope to exercise in the process of travel, while playing and learning. They are warm and attentive. I went to the attractions and they called the car. When I had a free breakfast, because there was no water to make cornflakes, the boss went out on a motorcycle to help us buy fresh milk. And next to the inn seems to be a net red restaurant, the dishes inside are really delicious!

NNicoleThe hotel is located in a hipster location called Nimman district where you can find great Cafes, restaurants, and a mall within walking distance. The room looks exactly like in the pictures. It’s clean and has a good smell. I had an amazing sleep. The mattress and pillows are super comfy. My room had a balcony facing the garden. From there you can see the temple at the mountain when the weather is clear. The only downside was that I could only stay for one night as it was the end of my holidays. Will come back.
