Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, as all staff were super accommodating and quick to help out when needed. Aun, “Ann” in particular was really helpful checking in. The bed was quite comfy and the mini bar fridge being stocked up daily is really nice. The pool was exquisite and well worth taking a dip daily. The shower pressure was good, but a bit narrow so watch out for wet floors, especially stepping down from the bathtub. All in all, a wonderful experience, and will happily book here again the next time I’m in Chiang Mai
I stayed at Travelodge Nimman during my recent trip to Chiang Mai and had a very enjoyable time overall. The first thing I noticed was the excellent location of the hotel. It’s within walking distance to Nimmanhaemin Road, where there are countless cafés, restaurants, and shops, yet it’s tucked just enough away from the busiest part to feel a bit calmer. Getting to and from the airport was very convenient, taking only about 20 minutes by car. For me, this balance between accessibility and comfort was one of the highlights of my stay, as it made exploring the city so much easier without feeling too far from the action.
The hotel itself is modern and stylish, with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. My room was spacious enough, with comfortable bedding, good air conditioning, and all the essentials I needed, including a fridge, toiletries, and reliable Wi-Fi. The housekeeping team did a great job keeping everything tidy throughout my stay, and I always came back to a neat, refreshed room. I also enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool, which had a lovely view and felt like a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The fitness center, while not very large, had just enough equipment for a quick workout, which I appreciated.
The staff at Travelodge Nimman were friendly and helpful whenever I needed assistance. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, and the overall service left a good impression on me. The breakfast offered by the hotel was decent, though I felt it could be improved in terms of variety and taste. Some mornings, food items seemed to run low if you came later, so it’s better to head down early. It wasn’t bad, but compared to the other great food available around Chiang Mai, it felt average.
One thing worth mentioning is that the location can be a bit noisy depending on which room you get. Since the hotel is not too far from the airport, you can occasionally hear airplanes, and there was also some construction noise during my stay. It didn’t completely ruin the experience, but if you’re sensitive to sound, I’d recommend requesting a quieter room. Also, while the amenities like the pool and gym are nice, they are on the smaller side, so they might feel limited if you’re expecting something more extensive.
Overall, I would say Travelodge Nimman is a solid choice for anyone wanting a modern, comfortable stay in a great location in Chiang Mai. It isn’t perfect, but the positives definitely outweighed the negatives for me. The combination of good service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location made my trip much smoother and more enjoyable. I would happily consider staying here again on my next visit, especially if I could secure a quieter room with a nice view.
While the two-night stay was satisfactory, there's room for improvement. The lobby staff should be trained to decline requests gracefully, offering alternative solutions. Additionally, the afternoon shift should prioritize guest interactions over phone calls. It was observed that a staff member during the two-night stay exhibited similar behavior, neglecting guests and failing to acknowledge those passing through the lobby.

We booked for 3 nights. The first 2 nights went fine. Then our last night, there’s a blackout from 14:00-17:30(as notified) but it went on to 20:00 hours. We couldn’t even get inside our rooms until 17:30. Still, there was no electricity in the rooms when we could finally get inside. There hotel doesn’t seem to have a backup system judging by the long blackout. That’s just a minus.

Well I wanted to try another hotel closer to the center but decided to stay again because it was nice and clean and comfy with a front desk. So for the price I decided to stay again.

Check out this new hotel near the airport … very clean and spacious with living area and kitchenette… absolute security (protected by the Royal Air Force) 😂 only no shopping or 7/11 nearby (it seems)
8mins to Nimman area.
Very peaceful and serene … overlooking the golf course ⛳️!
The toilet smells of sewage, maybe management need to look into it. The shower intermittently changes temperature (suddenly cooler before getting warm again). The location is great and I've stayed in this hotel for quite a few times. Maybe the management needs to look into refreshing certain areas of the hotel (like new towels maybe) ?
Staff is welcoming as always, breakfast still the wide variety, the northern dishes are still as tasty. Too bad they stopped serving Khao Soi, it was delicious.
Let’s start with the positives. Great location !! Smack dab in Nimman area walking distance to everything that matters. Food , shopping , massage, even dental care! Hotel has a wonderful Thai tea cafe with some amazing implementations of how to drink Thai tea. (Think artisan coffee but it’s Thai tea). Receptionist is warm and friendly and open to conversation. They have Parking! Once again great location. Sadly that’s where the positives end. There’s a first landing of stairs to climb before the elevator starts. If you arrive full of energy I imagine it don’t matter much. But if you’re jet lagged and bit grumpy I imagine that could be a deal breaker for some. The rooms are a bit dated. But spacious. Greeted with a generous amount of room space. Bed was hard and lumpy. The edges couldn’t support any weight. And I actually got a stiff neck from sleeping weird. Now that I think about it the room might have been a double bed room that was converted to a king. Because the light switches was in the middle of the bed head which found was weird. And at night would accidentally turn on the lights or tv just by tossing around. The sink faucet was broken lol. It looks like after day two they tried fixing it but meh. Honestly if you need a good location and a place to lay your head. Can’t argue with the price point for this hotel. It checked all my boxes. For my stay. Which was location , access to shopping and activities. And most of all a place to lay my head at night.
This hotel is located on Kuay kaew Road, is very good. location, the building probably more than 20 yrs old, but the room is still functioning, and also, reasonable price, I paid around 25$ for 1 night, including the buffet breakfast, staff are friend have TV.with multiple internationl highly recommended for solo traveling.
This is a great hotel. I accidentally left some cash in my room after checking out, but the staff were incredibly helpful and managed to retrieve it for me. The rooms were spotless and smelled fresh. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing
YYinhuey ChenI really enjoyed my stay at G Nimman. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!
CCarrie .EPros: The price is quite affordable, and the hotel boasts an excellent location. It's just a 5-minute walk to Nimman One and Maya Shopping Mall. There's also an outdoor BBQ restaurant right next to the hotel. The room's cleanliness was decent, and no additional deposit was required.
Cons: It can be a bit noisy due to planes flying overhead, which might not be ideal for light sleepers or those sensitive to noise.
JJerry TSYWell appointed hotel in middle of actions in Nimman area, the throbbing heart of Chiangmai, with easy access to massage, eateries, street food, shoppings, bars, night life, you name it, they have it. So this hotel is well appointed to be great value.
MManwikaFrom the first accommodation and I am fascinated Therefore come to rest often, like the peace, the bathroom is wide, the shower water is strong, very hot, the mattress is soft but not crunchy, sleep comfortably, the people next to it do not shake, if going to the CMU again, will stay here (unless the room is full first. Because there are only more than 10 rooms
GGuest UserThe booked family room has a small balcony. I personally like the hotel design, industrial and artistic style. The first floor is a cafe and breakfast room, consisting of indoor and outdoor gardens. It was very comfortable to have breakfast, drink coffee and tea in the garden every morning😌The room was also very clean. It seems to be run by a couple, and the boss is very nice. Yesterday, when I was waiting for the Elephant House staff to pick me up, because it was half an hour late, the boss took the initiative to call me for consultation. After waiting for a while, 2 cars came to pick us up haha. In fact, the first one was late, and another one was called by phone. All in all, the experience was great. If I have the chance, I would consider staying here again.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very beautiful, the environment is clean and tidy, very comfortable, the service attitude is very good, very polite, and the arrangements are thoughtful.
SSijieVery affordable price, the surrounding looks very tranquil and pretty. Swimming pool is big enough. Walking distance to Chiang Mai university and the night market behind the university.
But unfortunately so far these are all advantages.
The cleanliness of the room was really below the standard, we found plenty of cocoons on the wall and some dead bugs? ( very unpleasant). There was only one trash can for the whole room, so we need to go all the way to the toilet to throw away the trash.
Reception staff looks like they don’t want to be at work at all.
GGuest UserThe house is quite big, suitable for multiple families, but the location is inconvenient, the facilities are old, the highlight is the outdoor pool
