Chiang Mai Mae Hia Hotels

The guest room was one of the nicest we’ve ever been to. New and modern. Big bathroom. Living room and bedroom. Location is a 20 minute ride from the center. It doesn’t cost much on the Bolt app but you do have to wait. Breakfast is not a buffet and was VERY disappointing. We hardly ate there. The hotel doesn’t reply promptly to messages sent to them via booking.com. The hotel sent us a message saying they have a shuttle service that picks you up from the airport and also takes you to the city. When we inquired about this they said it isn’t available. When arrived at night we waited at the reception for about 10 minutes for someone to come. It later appeared that the guard at the resort entrance also does the check in. Room has a refrigerator, a microwave, stove etc. which could be very helpful but there were no cutlery, cups, plates etc. There was no ‘Please make up this room’ in our room and one day the room wasn’t cleaned at all and towels weren’t replaced. The hotel must improve their service. It is apparent much money has been invested in the rooms but all the rest needs to be improved. The hotel lacks the finish!

My most recent trip to Chiang Mai can only be described as magical and blissful and I have Vdara resort to thank for. My ideal place to stay was somewhere tranquil without the noise and stress of being too close to the city. It was so relaxing staying here. And the room was gigantic! The service staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Breakfast upstairs was great and delicious and allowed me to start the day in a good mood. Even though it was nice and quiet, Vdara was still close enough to the main city area that I didn't feel inconvenient whatsoever. Getting a taxi or Grab was extremely easy and quick. I would definitely stay here again my next trip back to Chiang Mai.

For the price the hotel has large rooms. The mattress is nice and hard so that you don't sink in and you can sleep nice and straight and soothing for your back. It's a bit far away from the city so driving is often refused.

Stayed again, talk about the details, as always clean, this is very important. The hotel currently has no meals, but the room provides free instant noodles drinks. Hotel location is still ideal, out of the hotel on the right side of the road 15 minutes walk to the net red store chom cafe, good view and other big push, because of the sun, because of the heat, I still took a taxi 65 baht. There are also net red coffee shops, parent-child restaurants, etc. Warm reminder, don't play in the old town, here is more pleasantly surprised [smile] and went to the wood carving village, and there is a Wednesday night market.

This hotel is not bad overall. It is very close to the airport. It only takes less than half an hour to drive there. When you check into the guest room, you will be given a coffee coupon every day. You can exchange it for a cup of coffee and a piece of bread at the coffee shop next to the hotel. Breakfast or afternoon tea are available. The room is fully equipped, the space is spacious, and it is clean. However, slippers are not provided, so guests must prepare their own slippers!  In addition, you need to take a taxi for transportation. If you rent a car and travel by yourself, there are gas stations and free parking spaces right outside the hotel, which is also very convenient. There are KFC and many small restaurants in the surrounding area. If you walk a few steps further, there are other Western-style restaurants, bars and restaurants. There is also a 7-11 where you can buy snacks and toiletries. It takes about half an hour to take a taxi out of the old town! The employees are all smiling and polite. Their English skills are average and communication is sufficient. Overall, it's still okay. In terms of price and service, it is still worth recommending. 👍👍👍

The location seems good but not! The car needs to ride a bit longer to enter hotel. If you choose walk, it is okay. Every one takes a picture in Thapae gate will take your hotel too. The swimming pool better not use because everyone can eat breakfast beside you. The water sometimes is grey black color. See the picture the breakfast have little choice and I only eat for one day only during my 5-days visit.. The scene is not good too. Water is hot and good pressure and the staffs are nice. 唔用中文，極度推介給中國人入住。

This hotel is situated in an excellent location. The property generally and our room are both spotlessly clean. Staff including Manager Khun Pimonphat are really friendly. The free WiFi is really fast and whilst the breakfast selection is small it is tasty and certainly enough to set you up for the day. Also the hotel are following strict covid requirements. Would I recommend this establishment, for sure. Highly recommended

It's near Tha Pae Gate, but on a quiet street, so the location is good. The dining space on the first floor has a microwave, a large refrigerator (there's a small refrigerator in the room), hot water, and a water dispenser. Tableware and other utensils are also provided. The shower and toilet are shared, but they are clean and have hot water. However, the door beeps if you don't close it properly. The lock is a card key, and the hotel entrance also has a card key, so be careful not to lock yourself out. I once locked myself out and went out, and when I came back there was no staff at the front desk, which made me panic. In the end, another guest opened the door for me, and when I explained the situation to the security at the coffee shop opposite, which was written on the front desk, a staff member came and opened my room for me.
