We had been planning our trip to Chiang Mai since February 2024 and were looking forward to our stay. We arrived on October 1st and spent two days at Mae Kampong before returning to the hotel on October 4th. Despite hearing about the flooding in Chiang Mai, we were hopeful that we could still enjoy our stay and explore the area.
Unfortunately, on the morning of October 5th, the power went out across the area, leaving everything in darkness. We contacted the front desk and were informed that the flooding had worsened, and all guests would need to relocate to another hotel for safety reasons. We quickly packed up and checked out, waiting at the lobby for transportation until noon. Unfortunately, the floodwaters had risen significantly, affecting nearby hotels as well. Eventually, we were moved to stay at Lotus Pang Suan Kaew. Although it is an older hotel, we were pleased with our Thai Lanna-style room, and the overall experience was good, albeit quieter than expected.
This was our first time experiencing a flood in Chiang Mai, but we still love the city and will definitely return

酒店位置絕佳，一側是清邁夜市，一側就是通向古城的街道。性價比較高，但設施較老，床頭沒有充電設施。有吸煙房，這在泰國比較難得。

Lobby 在2樓，初到訪客會迷失方向🤣，鄰近清邁夜市，購物飲食方便，走路至老城區或是瓦洛洛都大約十幾分鐘，對面有7-11和按摩及租車。秋天要注意水災的問題

The hotel is very close to the night market and the old town. The room is spacious and clean. The hot water in the bathroom is too small to take a bath. There are many choices for breakfast and plenty of seats, so you don’t have to wait. The staff has a strong emphasis on English and you need to listen carefully to know what to say. The gym is big but a bit old.
