The water had already flooded to the waist and chest. At the same time, the truck pick-up required a very long wait. On October 4, the hotel was reinforcing the defense line by the river, and it may have been reinforced again by the swimming pool at night. We lived on the first floor and did not let us move to the second floor. At 6 o'clock in the morning on October 5, the flood broke through the defense line and flooded into our room on the first floor. We had to flee in a hurry. The hotel did not contact us to move to the second floor when the flood came in or in the middle of the night. We started to escape from the hotel at 6 o'clock, and were finally rescued from Anantara with the help of a tour group after 10 o'clock. At the same time, after escaping, we contacted to cancel the hotel on the 5th, but all hotel communications were interrupted at that time. But the platform said that the agent contacted the hotel and agreed to refund. So the question is, how can the agent contact the hotel for a refund when the hotel is completely disconnected from the communication? The whole hotel is in a mess. So I guess it was the agent who refused to refund before? (Platform Agent Hotel, who is not refunding? I still have doubts) Ctrip has helped me deal with the loss of the first night and gave me some compensation. The second night was also refunded because the hotel has also suspended operations. The hotel is very beautiful inside. After the flood came, the staff also tried their best to help us. I am very grateful. But the problem of the hotel management is too big. When the flood came, they did not refund and let people take risks to stay. They knew that the water level was rising and did not let everyone move to the second floor. They did not prepare rescue vehicles in advance, etc. The hotel management is really for making money and does not worry about safety at all.

The hotel environment is good, the breakfast under the Bodhi tree is great, the breakfast service staff are great, you can order from the menu, although it was the first time to encounter a hotel that charges a large amount of extra money for children without extra beds when checking in, after repeated communication, the staff finally agreed to pay only for breakfast, although it wasted the check-in time, the staff said it was the hotel's regulations, a bit speechless. Strangely, the Chinese meal cost about 3200 baht, and the restaurant staff took 6400 baht to scan and pay when checking out. Fortunately, the amount felt wrong and asked to see the detailed list. They immediately said that they took the wrong list, which was also speechless. If the guest pays carelessly, will there be no follow-up? Overall, the hotel environment is good, and the staff are generally enthusiastic, but I always feel that there is a lack of standardization, and it feels like the boss has just changed.
