Melia Chiang Mai

The bedding was soft and nice! The only problem was that the bathroom shower drain didn't drain well. It was a bit inconvenient. Still, it was clean and comfortable, so I had a great time with my baby.

The room size and type are comparable to the Hilton Garden Inn in China. The beds in the twin room are next to each other, and when pushed together, they become a 2.2-meter large bed. This is recommended for families with 2 adults and 1 child. There are more foreigners from the Middle East, South Korea, and Taiwan than from the mainland in the hotel, which is very international. But one thing I want to complain about is that everyone should choose carefully. I chose Melia because I saw comments saying that the sound insulation was good, but after actually staying in, I realized that the sound insulation was too poor. Every step of the slow walk upstairs could be heard clearly, so I changed a room for 4 consecutive nights because of the sound insulation problem, but it still didn't solve the problem. I could only endure it until after 12 o'clock in the evening, when everyone went to bed and we could sleep. It is worth praising that Melia's service is very fast. Every time I called to ask for toothbrushes and slippers, or complained about the noise upstairs, they would knock on the door and deliver it within 3-5 minutes. The service is still very good.
