一個公區環境大於房間的酒店。公區很有特點，早餐很豐盛，吃早餐的位置很愜意，早餐時間也有好，到中午12點，二樓有個圖書區，環境舒適。到住房區要先換鞋，房間內設施感覺有些年代了，房間不大，條件也一般。

The service is really attentive. The breakfast is very delicious and not inferior to Michelin.

The front desk service was very good. The breakfast was ordered but it was a very ordinary breakfast. I read the reviews saying how delicious the beef noodles were. I personally think it was just average. I can only say that you will get tired of it in two days at most.

Disadvantages: After staying for three days, there was no hot water for bathing when I returned to the hotel at night. I had to take cold showers for three consecutive nights (the water tank had been exposed to the sun during the day, so the water temperature might be similar to sea water, about 20 to 30 degrees). It won't freeze you to death, but you have to finish the shower within a few minutes. After taking a shower, your whole body will be chilled (especially after taking a shower, the room itself has air conditioning, which makes you feel even colder). Because your body is not warm enough, you can't fall asleep at all. People who are prone to illness should definitely not choose this option. The purpose of traveling is to relax. But the problem of bath water really prevented us from relaxing. (We tried to get up in the morning and there was hot water for bathing, but we don’t know why the hot water disappears every night.) The hotel staff was very polite, but we had already complained to them twice face to face (and once on the phone) about the shower water problem, and they always asked us to wait for 5 minutes (hot water system problem?). The night staff entered our room to test the water temperature, and then called back to check, and even suggested that they would provide us with a room to shower if possible, but there was no response at all after that, and the matter was left unresolved. **Due to the problem of shower water, the hotel proactively provided a free vehicle to the airport after checking out. But we were really not satisfied with this stay. We didn't feel relaxed at all when we returned to the hotel at night. The hotel is located later in the alley. The hotel decoration and design are good and the environment is indeed quiet. However, the hotel is smaller than expected. There is no elevator, the stairs are very slippery, and you need to take off your shoes in the lobby and cannot wear them back to the room. I can hardly walk in the hotel's slippers (because the slippers are too loose and too big for women), so I took off the slippers directly and my socks got dirty. Pros: My husband and I like to sleep on hard mattresses, and we wanted to live in the old town, so we chose this one after reading many reviews. The mattress is indeed quite hard. If you don't like soft mattresses, you can choose this one, as long as you don't mind the problem of bath water. Cons: We stayed in Makka for three days, yet there was no hot water for showering for three consecutive nights, we had to shower with cold water. (The water tank may have been warmed by the sun during the day, so the temperature was probably similar to seawater, around 20–30°C.) You won't be freezing to death, but you had to finish showering within few a minutes and you will be shivering from the cold. Becoz of the aircon, we feel even colder after the bath. People who get sick easily should definitely avoid this hotel. The hotel staff were actually polite without problem. However, regarding the shower issue, we have reported to them twice by person (and one time on phone). They replied they would look into it. The night staff even visited our room and checked on the water temperature, told us will check on it and may offer us another room just for showering, but then we heard nothing more from them, it was left unresolved. ** Hotel did offer free transportation to the airport becoz of the chaos. But I want the hot shower more. The hotel is located inside a small alley. The design and decor are nice, and the environment is indeed peaceful. However, the hotel is smaller than expected, there is no elevator, the stairs are slippery, and guests are required to take off their shoes in the lobby and are not allowed to wear them to the rooms. I found the hotel slippers almost impossible to walk in (they were too loose and too big, unsuitable for women). Pros: Husband and I prefer firm mattresses, and since we wanted to stay in the old town area. We chose this hotel after reading many reviews. The mattress was indeed quite firm, so it’s a good choice for those who dislike soft beds, as long as cold shower water is not an issue to you.
