I booked a room for a friend. I arrived on the first night and was assigned to a room on the first floor that was not very good. There was no window and the curtains were broken. There were frogs croaking outside the wall at night and it was very noisy, so I changed to a second room the next day. The rooms on the first floor are much better.
Every room is different, so you still have to choose.

Amazing landscape! Very well-maintained yard and room. Staff was the best of all my hotel stays in Thailand. The hotel was tucked away in a busy area. The breakfast was buffet style but actually really good food! Overall, no complaints.

Lovely location, rooms are tucked into a jungle-like area, very attentive staff, but the rooms are small, the bathroom is tiny and not particularly clean. Of course,in Thailand everything is a bargain, so the price was great. Just wish the rooms were nicer, but overall a nice place to stay.

I was a little apprehensive booking this due to the fact that it was rated only 3 star. I shouldn’t have worried; it was absolutely perfect. My room was spacious and well equipped. Both WiFi and Air Conditioning were excellent. The staff are all charming and helpful and the location is so peaceful, despite being only a 10 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of the famous night markets. Also - best massage I’ve ever had was here!!

Having stayed at this hotel several times in the past, I was disappointed to see that it has been left to run down. Glaringly obvious is the lack of maintenance to the elevated boardwalk, the only route in and out. It's so dilapidated that there are bound to be accidents with people tripping and falling. As for disability access, it's completely unsuitable. The boardwalk needs to be ripped up and replaced asap. Rooms also are suffering from a lack of maintenance with loose electrical fittings, permanent bathroom stains, clogged shower drainage and antiquated room security. It's sad to see Twenty Lodge go to seed. Hopefully it will recover, the friendly staff deserve to be proud of the place once again.

You always get what you pay for and we didn’t pay that much. The rooms are clean on the face of it but the shower room really needed som attention. Our room was spacious enough but probably just tired, the staff were fine snd willing to help with anything, there is a good scooter rental a few doors down who is a charming chap. Nice pool though we never used it. The breakfast is buffet, a shame they just don’t do fresh cooked fried eggs or omelette as they have a chef, instead they sit on a servery and go cold, there’s enough though.
