I was a bit worried because the reviews on various sites were so polarized.. but in conclusion, it was a rather disappointing accommodation. I don't usually leave reviews, but since there didn't seem to be many reviews from Koreans on Trip.com, I'm leaving this one for your reference.. Most of the reviews that were there were good..
I made a mistake of booking one day less than the previous accommodation, so I booked this place that I was curious about as a place to stay one night before taking a domestic flight. I wish I had stayed one more night at the previous accommodation, even though the location was inconvenient.ㅠ The previous accommodation was satisfactory in terms of cleanliness, neatness, and facilities, so I'm comparing it more..
1. First of all, the hotel entrance is directly connected to the main road, which is a shame. The hotel itself is far from the road, but if you want to walk towards the old town, you have no choice but to walk along that road, which is a bit dangerous. It's also a bit inconvenient to have to cross the road several times to get to the old town. This may be because I'm experiencing the traffic situation in Thailand for the first time.. But I think the location itself is okay. 2. The moment I checked in at night, I opened the door and felt a damp, musty smellㅠ But can I leave the air conditioner on all night..? It was too cold.. The air conditioner is an old model that doesn't allow mode control or sleep mode control.. No matter how much I lower the speed, the wind blows~~ I ended up choosing the dehumidification?? mode..
The sheets are strangely damp. It smells a bitㅠ The sunlight doesn't come in well.. And the fact that the mattress is right on the floor didn't really matter. No matter how much the steps are.. And when I lifted the sheets, there was a tiny bug corpseㅠ I don't know what it was..
And it's so.. dark and gloomy... I really didn't like it
3. Why.. isn't there a chair in the room...?
4. I put in the shower filter and took a shower while enduring the fatigue and annoyance, but the filter leaked in a short while. I was surprised because I could see it in real time while showering. The previous accommodation had a shower that couldn't be filtered, so I can't compare it to other accommodations in Chiang Mai, but I guess that's why everyone brings a filter.
5. Breakfast. .... I remember the bad reviews and I was having a stomachache because I didn't know what was wrong with me, so I chose the continental, which seemed like the best option. (My favorite menu is bread salad.) When I went in the morning, they brought me a variety of food, but as I was eating, 1) there was dust all over the plate. 2) I accidentally flipped the bread over while avoiding it and it got burnt. They flipped it over and served it to me. I felt bad... 3) I went after seeing a foreigner's review that said there was no protein, but they had boiled eggs. The fruit was refreshing.
I've written down everything I can think of. There were some issues like the above, but if it weren't for the peak season price, I think it's a decent place to stay alone. It's dark so I can't tell, but it looked clean from the outside... I've only stayed at a Chiang Mai hotel once and I keep comparing it to my previous accommodations, so I'm a bit dissatisfied, but please take note... Ah, the staff were friendly.
