Hotel Loy Chiang Mai - Adult Only

This was definitely the worst accommodation experience I've ever had. On our first night, the bathroom drain was completely clogged, flooding the entire floor and making it impossible to shower. After reporting it to the front desk, they tried to fix it for half an hour but couldn't, so they temporarily booked another room to use the bathroom. We figured we'd just put up with it for one night and see if they could move or fix it tomorrow. The next day, they came to fix it while we were out. When they came back, they said it was fixed, so we didn't have to move. But then, when we tried to shower in the middle of the night, the water flooded again! The same ridiculous situation from the previous night had to repeat itself: running to the front desk, getting the key, and switching rooms to shower. I couldn't even shower properly in my room for two consecutive nights... and the endless communication and responses were exhausting. On check-out day, I inquired about how things were handled and requested to speak with the supervisor. Not only did they not offer any apology or compensation, they simply insisted they couldn't be more aggrieved. Finally, the manager insisted there would be no refund or discount, saying the card payment had already been processed and nothing could be done about it. It was all shenanigans. After reading other netizens, I realized that no matter how early I report it, there's always a reason not to offer compensation or refunds. The staff expressed understanding, but they had no authority at all. The manager acted like they were only interested in profit and didn't value their customers. Even with video evidence, they refused to acknowledge their actions. This kind of service is completely disappointing, especially for a hotel in Chiang Mai that costs over 4,000 baht a night. Avoid it!

The staff were friendly and the hotel atmosphere was great, but... the bathroom door was so noisy that it was incredibly uncomfortable. ㅠㅠ Especially late at night or early in the morning... I was so worried that I'd wake up the sleeping guests. ㅠㅠ If only that could be resolved, this is a hotel I'd always want to stay at.

This is a hotel that can surprise you. The Thai guy at the bar is very enthusiastic and will take the initiative to make Thai milk tea for guests to taste for free. The overall decoration of the hotel is very good, and the facilities and equipment are soundproof and air-conditioned.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a huge bathtub. The service was excellent and polite, greeting everyone upon arrival and departure. They also helped us book outings and airport transfers (for only 200 baht, compared to 300+ baht if booked online). The breakfast was delicious, so be sure to book a room with breakfast included.
