We stayed there for 8 days! Favorite part was the quick entry/exit to the pool, very convenient. The pool closed at 7pm for a great reason, because water noise is irritating for all residents. There’s no such thing as soundproof, you can hear every everything moving from your room 😝. The hotel brings you another level of experience in terms of traveling … the breakfast early booking system was not the top choice, but the staff was very helpful. We did regret booking with breakfast options because it was a waste of money. Joke aside someday there’s butter Hahah and other days there is no butter (we tried). The room we had was spacious but there was a weird smell of moisture from the wooden furniture. We weren’t able to keep anything in the cabinet because of that smell. The stay is great if you close your eyes on 2-3 things such as the smell, mold in the bathroom, or broken stuff … but we enjoyed this unique experience. Please eat and clean afterwards otherwise you and ants will share the space.

We had a pleasant stay at The Chaya Resort and Spa, though unfortunately, we only stayed for two nights. The room was spacious and comfortable, but it was located underground, which came with an unexpected issue—water from the pool leaked into our room.
Sadly, we didn’t get the chance to try the swimming pool, but overall, the stay was enjoyable. The atmosphere was nice, and the hotel had a relaxing vibe. Would love to come back and experience it fully!

It feels like a traditional Korean tile-roofed house! It feels like a resort in a traditional Thai house. The interior and exterior are clean, and the owner and staff are friendly.
There are only about six kinds of breakfast, which is a little disappointing. However, the taste was perfect for our taste and delicious.
And it was close to the airport, so it was very comfortable and not tiring. Since the airport is close, the noise from the bangi can be a little annoying, but it's okay.
There are temples nearby, and the food is good.

Room was really nice, big & clean, for those who want peace & quiet, because there are only a few restaurants nearby, a long walk from main attractions, staff are discriminating & only friendly to ‘certain’ races which is a huge deal breaker! Breakfast is mediocre so don’t include when booking

First of all, there is nothing around. So the advantage is that it is quiet. (Since Chiang Mai has an airport in the city, you have to understand the airplane noise no matter where you stay.)
The biggest problem is that the water pressure is so weak that it is very stressful to take a shower. There is a bathtub, but it is useless. It is not hot water, but lukewarm water..
The room I moved to deluxe had hot water, so it was good to use the bathtub. (The shower water pressure is still weak.)
However, the deluxe is a king-sized bed with two single beds attached, so my back hurt a lot.
If the price is lower than now, I would be willing to use it again, but it seems a little difficult at the current price.
