Convenient location. Not the first time I stay here.

I've stayed at dozens of 3-star hotels in Thailand, and this is the worst No. 3. 1. The alley is too dark. It's so dark that you can't walk into the accommodation. It's so scary. 2. At first glance, it looks like a clean and pretty accommodation. However, it's too old and there's mold everywhere. 3. The reviews say the owner's family is kind, but who on earth is that? I only saw one middle-aged woman while I was there. She checked in, checked out, and cleaned everything by herself. But she didn't speak English at all. When I checked in, she just gave me the key without any explanation. When I asked what time I should check out because there was no explanation, she didn't know. Oh my... Someone said they helped me carry my luggage because there was no elevator, but they didn't seem to care at all about it. They didn't even look at the guests. Later, I found out that there were snacks and a water purifier on the first floor. I didn't hear any explanation, so I didn't know at all. When a Western guest had an inquiry, they connected the phone to someone else who could speak English. They didn't even look at the guests when checking out. 4. When I asked about late checkout because it was the last accommodation, they just kept saying no. There was definitely a room on Agoda, but they kept saying no. It might not work out. Then shouldn't they explain why it's not working out? I've been to Thailand a dozen times, but this is the first time I've been to such an unpleasant accommodation. I'm not picky, but I've stayed at many places with worse facilities than this one. But they have Thai smiles and kindness, so it wasn't a problem at all. I was always grateful because I knew that Thai people would try to help me in any way they could, even if they didn't speak English at all. I don't know if they're the staff or the owner, but their attitude toward guests is a problem, but I think it's a problem that such a stuffy person is staying alone in a tourist destination like Chiang Mai with many foreigners.

A very nice authentic hotel where you want to look at every detail! The room is super cozy and clean. I stayed during Halloween and they left me candy at the door, it was very nice ☺️
