The room was very clean and had the amenities I needed. The staff was really helpful when I needed to do my laundry and extend my staying.

Place is well located and is very quiet. Don't get turned down by the "Hostel" on their sign. You'll get your own room just like in a hotel. Staff has very limited English but are extremely friendly and accommodating. I felt welcomed right from the start and although the check-in seemed a little more ackward due to language barrier, everything went really well. Room has very limited amenities but for the price it is more than what one would expect. There was a mini fridge and although I'm not used to that type of bathroom (shower was a bit complicated to figure out and had to buy my own toilet paper), everything was functional. Bed was comfy, roosters will like wake you from time to time but isn't it the charm of being on vacation in such paradise? Loved the place!
