We have just checked out 3 days early from the hostel of hell. This place is the type you read about online or hear stories about. Upon arrival it is very aesthetically pleasing and the fact that there is a pool makes it feel like a gem. However the floors in the communal areas are black with dirt. The bathroom doors are almost impossible to close and worst of all there is a huge RAT infestation. It got so bad to the point where we had to leave our room at 5am and sleep on a bench outside of the premises due to the lobby being closed. We could hear the rats jumping across the room, scurrying under the floors and in the ceiling. After speaking with a member of staff about our concerns she came across irritated and unbothered. Avoid this place at all costs, don’t let the aesthetics or the pool draw you in!!!

The room is super comfortable, lovely fluffy pillow and soft mattress with hotel linen. The pool is divine, and it's very quiet, free coffee is available, excellent location too walking distance of centre and the North Wall. Good value for what is similar to a hotel The markets are amazing only thing was cold showers

Upon arrival the hostel is located in a lovely part of Chiang Mai with cute shops nearby and a 7/11 within a 5 minute walk. We couldn’t check in until 4pm so we made use of the luggage store and used the pool, the pool area was lovely with lots of sun loungers and chairs. The pool itself was quite cold but nothing too unbearable. The food available was very nice, I had the BLT and it was great! We stayed in a queen bed within a mixed dorm, the bed was very comfy with nice pillows, a duvet and a curtain for privacy. Outside the dorms there is an outside area/ balcony which you can sit on and hang washing out. The shared showers and toilets where kept rather clean, however the majority of the showers where freezing. They also had 3 dogs within the hostel which were friendly and adorable! I would definitely stay here again if visiting Chiang Mai again!

Great place to stay. We stayed here for a couple of nights which was perfect. Loved the bar and the location. We weren’t after a party hostel so this was perfect, as we could still socialise with other people without having the pressure to get drunk. Only point we would say is that the taps would spray everywhere in the bathroom and when you hang your clothes on the hooks in the shower room, they would get wet through. However still great, and would definitely return. Plus, the pool is just what you need on a hot day!
