I thought I’d write this review while I’m still here so I don’t forget anything This hotel is an independent family run business and you really can tell. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they helped us with booking excursions, translating my texts and even allowing us to take a towel from the room to the elephant sanctuary. Our room is spacious, traditional and most importantly, spotlessly clean. It has a lovely well kept garden with a few tables and chairs where you can sit and just chill, I’d recommend nipping across the road to the smoothie/ frozen yoghurt shack (the Loft Bread Cafe) and sitting in the yard chilling. When the reception isn’t manned in the evenings you have to let yourself in via a key pad which is extra peace of mind for security. The location is perfect, far enough out of the old town but not too far to walk, takes about a 15min slow walk. It can be a little noisy in the mornings due to the traffic but you don’t come to Thailand to stay in bed. The only bit of advice I can give that would help you improve on our stay is, book a room with a balcony if you intend to wash clothes out. We need to wash our clothes out as staying in Thailand for 3 weeks and are on the bottom floor so don’t have a balcony which means we will have to go to the laundrette tomorrow They didn’t have them available for our stay but looking at the cost difference it’s only a few pounds. That is not meant as a negative comment, just something to consider. I certainly wouldn’t let it affect my stay here. The customer service here has to be some of the best I have ever experienced and I can be fussy. Don’t hesitate in booking this place, you won’t be disappointed
