I recently stayed at Baan Huen Phen Hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few setbacks. Overall, Baan Huen Phen has a lot going for it, but I would recommend avoiding Room 205 until these issues are addressed. If they are, it could be a fantastic place to stay given its great location and friendly atmosphere.

The location is very good. When we went there, it was the flood season in Chiang Mai. We originally booked Shangri-La, but it was flooded because of its location on Changkang Road. We urgently changed to this hotel and were pleasantly surprised. It is a small but exquisite hotel with a particularly good service attitude. We booked a 75-square-meter room, which was very comfortable for a family of three. The location is also very good, quiet in a busy city.
The breakfast is the same every day. Although it is delicious, it is a bit boring to stay for a few more days.
