Stayed at a really good hotel recently and had a great experience! The location is excellent—conveniently close to shops, cafes, and key attractions, yet still quiet enough for a relaxing stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Staff were friendly and always ready to help. Definitely a place I’d come back to—highly recommended for both comfort and convenience!

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the night market. The room was clean, but the bed was a bit hard and not very comfortable for sleeping. The receptionist was not helpful when I requested a king bed—she simply said the hotel was full and did not offer any alternatives. Breakfast was okay.

Location
- Less than 2-5min walks to three night market ( Kalare Night Bazaar, Chiang Mai Night Bazaar and Anusarn Night market)
- Shopping mall Pantip just around the corner. Big C and Eveanboy is there!!!
- Watson just beside the hotel
-KFC, McDonald, and Hard Rock Cafe just walkable distance! All less than 5min walk.
- At evening, once you step out from the hotel you can see a lot temporary stall selling varieties of local stuff
-10 to 15min grabbing to airport by Grab or Bolt (please don’t agree with their additional airport charge! No such charges! Report them if the driver ask you so. Whatever you see at the platform is the charges. Tipping is up to individual)
Hotel staff - All are lovely. Friendly and approachable. Very welcoming and patience with you request
Room - Hopefully they will do some renovation. Bed is comfy. Bathroom wise some wear and tear including toilet bowl but I don’t spend time in the room so doesn’t matter. Aircon working in good condition
Facilities - I didn’t check as I don’t use it.
Overall - The exterior, the friendliness of staff, the lobby & cafe and location is the plus of staying Dusit Princess! Will be back for sure if visiting Chiang Mai in future

We had a great stay at this beautiful hotel, the staff were so lovely and accommodating to our needs. The pool was great to swim in and cool down. Our room was especially aesthetically pleasing and beautifully decorated.
The location is a top spot because it’s right next to some of the huge markets
Thank you so much, we will hope to stay again one day :)

Very very well run building. Nice apartments with efficient design. So man y people coming and going to struggle to keep the lift laptop and always clean. pool is wonderful and well managed. EXERCISE room it’s far too small for the building size. Each time I went just packed with people.

This is the best hotel in Chiang Mai if you wish to enjoy the beauty of Chang Mai itself. If you think holiday is not a luxury, but is more towards experience, then Amata Lanna is the answer for your great holiday experience. Best money I ever spend on a hotel!
They got the Buddha Sala Tree too!

Extended our stay at this accommodation as we enjoyed our stay. We selected the river view room, which was good. It's not a large room, but a clean and comfortable room. It has all the items needed for a comfortable stay, plus a little bonus that snacks and drinks are at no charge. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but not much excitement in the dishes. Close walk to a few massage shops and a couple of really nice restaurants.
The workers have done a fantastic job in getting the lower level of the hotel up to speed after major flooding in the region from a massive typhoon passed through as a rain depression. They were working on the gardens to the river.
We enjoyed our stay.

* The hotell has a type of zen/japanese vibe interior going. Loved that. More of a comfy, café, nature vibe than Luxurious gold kind of hotell. lowkey Ghibli.
* The staff was very very kind. Very helpful and interactive. Service from staff was a 10/10. Greetings whenever we left or came back, welcome drinks everytime.
* When arriving the staff helped with luggage, gave us welcome drinks and a little snack. The luggage was already brought to our room when we got there. The keycard was put in a cute pearshaped pouch, very unique from other hotells.
* The twin bedroom was a 8/10.
- The beds were on a higher leveled floor (giving a japanese kind of bed on floor vibe). Comfy beds, not too stiff.
- The bathroom is nice and clean. Though the shower door was a little awkward placed, when opening it goes inwards into the little shower room so it can be a little of a struggle when exiting.
THE BATHROOM DOORS FYI: there are 2 big sliding door walls that does close entirely when met but keep in mind there are no locks. The privacy is given but not invading proof.
* Pool is 1.2m deep, ~4m wide × ~17m length. Not very big but nice for calm swimming. Opening hours is 8AM - 8PM. Clean. You can sit by the pool either on Suntanning chairs or dufflebags. Towels are provided by the pool.
* Hidden koi fisk lake besides toilets by the pool.

I stayed in Chiang Mai for 2 weeks this time and booked 6 hotels, all of which cost more than 1,000 yuan. They were all good, but the best one was this hotel.
It is a boutique hotel, small but exquisite, with very good service. This hotel is very good at recruiting people. Every young waiter is very nice, very enthusiastic to guests, sincere and friendly to Chinese people, and very caring to children. Even the staff who helped to carry luggage at the door were very active and enthusiastic. Although he didn't speak English, his smile was also very sincere. There is also free afternoon tea from 1 to 4 o'clock. The hotel has its own massage, and the children can also use it to sleep in the afternoon.
The Elephant Suite does not have any elephant elements, but the room is very large and has a small balcony. It is a super hotel that has not been developed by Chinese people. There are more foreigners. It is not far from the children's equestrian school. There is a market diagonally opposite, and there is an Internet celebrity seafood restaurant next to it. If you want to book a hotel of about 1,000 yuan, it is recommended not to hesitate to choose this one.
The only disadvantage is that the hot water is occasionally unstable, but other hotels also have this problem, so just ignore it~

We stayed 5 nights at the Empress Hotel, and location is ok, as there are tuc tucs at the end of the street that can take you anywhere. The feel, decor, facilities, smell are all old-style, but it was fine for us, as we spent most of the say out of the hotel and the price was decent for what you get. Breakfast was reasonable, including fresh fruit and salads, good bacon, not good coffee. Check-in and check-out was quick and smooth, and they put us in connecting rooms with two single and one king bed per our request, which was good customer attention. Rooms were quiet, decent size except the bathrooms. The fitness room, well, at least they have one but please, if you have one, keep it maintained ! Only two of around 10 cardio machines were in working order - just fix them - and give the equipment a clean and over haul, add a few mats, towels, waters ... My recommendation is to make a few investments to improve things like a proper coffee machine, fitness room refurbish, room decor, and ensure an english-speaking manager walking around to be ”visible”, greeting the guests, ask how things are, and helping to guide his/her staff to become fully autonomous in improvements. The housekeeping team were very good and worked hard and all day. I would recommend the Empress, but they need to start to catch up to other hotels and what international visitors are expecting.

JJammiesThis is the most impressive place I've been to. The cleanliness is very clean. The room smells good. The bathroom is beautiful and clean. The atmosphere is good. The breakfast is well-arranged. The quality is good too. I highly recommend it. 🥰
ps. We stayed in a superior room.
GGuoyao666Very good 👌City center. I don’t like staying in the ancient city because I’m afraid it’s too noisy. But this hotel is outside the ancient city. It’s convenient to go everywhere and has a Thai style. I stayed here for 7 nights and my daughter and I liked it very much.
