Chiang Khan Hotels with Bars

- Minimal hotel, beautiful, soft bed, cold air conditioner, a bit narrow room - The hotel entrance has only one way traffic, parking is in another alley. When checking out, a car was parked blocking the exit, so it took almost 20 minutes to drive out. I called the hotel 5-6 times but no one answered. I had to walk around back to the hotel again. Then the staff followed the car owner to move it for me. - Not impressed with the breakfast. I got a coupon. The restaurant I went to eat at was almost at the end of the walking street. There were a lot of people. The set said that I would get rice soup, fried dough sticks, coffee, but I only got rice soup. The restaurant said I had to pay extra for everything else. I sat next to the restaurant. The smell was not good. - Amenities in the room include a TV, air conditioner, bed, small refrigerator, 4 bottles of water, soap, shampoo, shower cap, slippers. There is no dressing table. There is only one mirror in the bathroom. If there are only two of us, we have to wait to put on makeup in the bathroom. It takes a long time. It is not very convenient. - The space in the room is very narrow. You have to walk slowly or your knees will hit the edge of the TV counter when you get on the bed. There is no view to see, but it is close to the walking street. - The staff provided good service and were helpful throughout.

Very impressed with the accommodation, clean rooms, cool air, with a smart TV, sleeping and watching the internet flicker, chilling, the mattress is soft, comfortable, not hard. Chiang Khan is a small river town with the magic of the Mekong river bringing visitors from far and near. With that, prices are exorbitant. Supposedly our room was for 4 persons but we used only one king size bed. The bedsheets were badly stained and we used the lesser of the two dirty ones. Mini Fridge didn't work and we asked for a replacement but it didn't work either. Bathroom was dirty at the corners and we wore slippers while bathing. Aircon was noisy but cold enough. Aarrgg..not coming back here again even for free.

We booked 3 days 2 nights. We booked a big room. 2 double beds About cleanliness Full of 10, not broken at all, I like the atmosphere very much, next to the Mekong River, next to the walking street, the view is very beautiful, there will be only accommodation, not soundproof, just that.

The location of the hotel is very good, in the Chiang Khan walking street, cleanliness is good, the view at the back is a river view, the interior lacks a hair dryer, and the bathroom is narrow and not very convenient, the sanitary ware is still old-style. If the sanitary ware in the room is changed, it will be considered. It's good to have a lot of common areas to sit in. Overall it's considered good, but the price is a little high.

Set in an old folk house, Sneta Chian Khan was renovated in 2013 and consists of 7 rooms. Each has its own characteristics, but the structure feels nostalgic and calms down. I stayed at the Attic Room The room is on the 2nd floor. When you enter the room, it is a loft type room and the loft part is like a bedroom. There are windows on the ceiling roof, which reminds me of my childhood like a secret base. Surrounded by the warmth of the wood, it feels pretty good. Similar to Baan Luang Rajamaitri Historic Inn in Chantaburi (Baan Luang also reports on Tripadvisor so check it out if you like) Location of the Mekong River on the back facing Walking Street The lively sound of Walking Street at night In the morning, after 6 o'clock, you can hear the prayer sound of the monk in Dhutanga. Breakfast of local cuisine is included (I received 2 servings (laughs)) The staff / husband is very cheerful and kind with a good personality. I don't speak English ... I can understand Thai, but I wonder if the answer is an Isan accent ... It's okay! I can understand my feelings. ●●●● ○ and 4 were because it was itchy and I couldn't sleep because it seemed that there was a tick on the futon. I fought with an insect repellent in the middle of the night, but in the end I wore a long-sleeved hoodie, long trousers and socks and fought ... We were surprised to find such a lovely hotel in this relatively remote and peaceful location. Stunning views of the Mekong from the terrace. Beautifully maintained gardens. Modern, comfortable rooms. Buffet breakfast with lots of choices. Great value. We reached the walking street by phoning for a tuk tuk, the journey taking about 5 minutes. If we hadn’t been touring we would have liked to have stayed a few days.
