La Demalerie

Lovely stay in Cheverny Our visit was perfect and we stayed here for 3 nights. Our room was spacious and comfortable. At the top of our list was the warmth and friendliness of the owner. She was generous with her time and knowledge of the area. We really felt welcomed! Would definitely recommend this place to all who visit Cheverny.

This was the loveliest Bed and Breakfast I have stayed at in France or the United States. The staff was excellent, welcoming and bilingual. The included breakfasts were consistently excellent and included locally grown fresh fruits, eggs and cheeses and other wonderful items. The property was clean and quiet, and all the amenities you can imagine for a nice stay. The property and grounds were private and secluded but close to many historical sites such as two castles in close proximity and other Major Loire Valley must-see sites of interest.

My husband and I stayed at La Demalerie for two nights with our four children. It is an absolutely gorgeous property with a zen feel to it. There is a large yard with plenty of things for the kids to do, including a ping pong table, an area to play boules, a jacuzzi ect. The rooms themselves are beautifully appointed, clean, comfortable and high end. We are used to staying in 5 star hotels and our stay here was certainly comparable. The hosts are so kind and welcoming. Dominique offered home made muffins and jam, fresh baguettes, hams and cheeses, yogurt and fresh squeezed OJ. She made hot chocolates for the kids and coffee for us. Her husband was so kind, giving us tips on places not to be missed. He even drove us to a local castle, making two trips to accommodate our large family. Honestly if you are looking for a place to stay in Cheverny, don’t hesitate to book here!
