Paradise and peace. We loved it at Margarita del Sol. Although, the drive from the town to the hotel, not the hotel’s fault, was really rough.
Please remember to purchase food before you get there as you won’t want to leave to traverse the road back into town.
Lulu is lovely and extremely kind and helpful.

Très mauvaise expérience. Tout d’abord, l’hôtel est très difficile d’accès, en effet il faut emprunter une route d’environ 5 km (30 minutes de voiture) pour arriver jusqu’à l’hôtel mais cette route est en terre et pleine de trous, il est très difficile de sortir de la une fois arrivés. Ensuite, il y a les chambres , elles sont très très sales. Les draps ont des tâches, il n’y a pas d’eau chaude, le sol est plein de sable et la petite cuisinière est très vieille et rouillée, impossible de se faire à manger! De plus, il n’y a plein d’algues sur la plage ce qui rend très difficile l’accès à l’eau. Finalement, il y a seulement un petit déjeuner le matin et si l’on veut manger autre chose à un autre moment de la journée c’est impossible. Pour cela il faut repartir dans le village et passer par ce chemin avec des trous partout. La propriétaire de l’hôtel est vraiment désagréable , et le prix des chambres qui revient a peut près à 160 dollars la nuit n’est absolument pas justifié. C’est une arnaque. Je ne recommande cet hôtel à personne.

Te atienden los propietarios que son súper atentos, la habitación, piscina y todas las áreas muy limpias. Ideal para ir a descansar o con niños, se divierten buscando cangrejos y fauna local.
Cuenta con wifi de buena velocidad, no hay tv pero realmente no lo sentí necesario.
La playa está a pocos metros de las habitaciones.

Apartment smells very bad. Sheets were badly stained. Kitchen cooker was greasy, which wouldn't be a problem if they hadn't taken an extra deposit to ensure we cleaned when we left. Owners husband hid behind a door to insist that everything was clean. Owner just said it was uncancelable and tried to make out the sheets were stained as they didn't use chlorine??? Insisted on checking the room before giving us deposit back and returned admitted that the sheets could have been cleaner. Then said the smell was probably gas!!!! No apology or any offer to rectify the situation. We could not bring ourselves to stay in such a smell and with people with such awful customer service so left even though we had paid upfront. Beach in the area is not clean but most other places make an effort to clean it a little!
