We stayed at this hotel for three (3) nights. There was plenty of on-site parking, and this hotel was largely empty and quiet on some weekdays during the middle of September. Our room was clean and comfortable, albeit our room was older, and we had no issues with the air-conditioning unit, the television, the wifi, nor the hot water. This room had no couch, but it had: a desk, a chair, a microwave, and a refrigerator. There was no daily room service offered, but if we needed any extra supplies, we were given them by the staff members. Most of the staff members were amicable. Each morning, I used this gym’s treadmill and weight machine. This hotel’s breakfast was decent, and it contained: coffees, juices, teas, water, toasts, bagels, muffins, bananas, apples, waffles, yogurts, pre-made burritos, and cereals. Indiana Dunes National Park’s West Beach was about twenty (20) minutes away, and Chicago was about sixty (60) minutes away. This hotel had many nearby restaurants, and Interstate-94 was a close drive from this hotel.

AN off the beaten path hotel chain that was better than expected. Clean lobby, clean rooms, comfortable bed and good water. Was a king room that included a easy chair, desk, good size refrigerator and microwave. Did not use breakfast, but was included for free. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Suggestion: Hotel has 2 floors with no elevators, but if you can walk, take the upper floor as you will hear people walking and their TV if you are on the first floor.

No frills here. Quiet night stay. Clean, but a slight musty smell. Beds comfortable. Compared to other Quality Inns, this breakfast was mediocre. Clean, small area with tables. Nice location when traveling through or visiting the lakeshore.

It is just a short ride to Indiana Sand Dunes State Park. The Lake Michigan Sand Dunes have parts that are operated by the National Park Service and there is also a large Indiana State Park. The Chesterton Quality Inn is close to the state park. The hotel itself is being remodeled. The room and a very large television, a plus for a value hotel. The internet worked very well at this property. It would have been nice to have orange juice with the breakfast.

My fiend and I stayed here for a night. It was quiet and the beds were comfy. We got a nice little goodie breakfast bag when we left the next morning. Great for a nights stay. Not too far from Indiana dunes. Good location and good area. No complaints.

The hotel is clean and quiet with comfortable beds and a good hot shower. Management was accommodating. It’s an older hotel, but had the features important to us. Breakfast fare was minimal. Hotel is very close to the Indiana Dunes NP. We would like to return to this area and will stay here again.

Upon arriving at this hotel, it seemed quiet and was affordable but thats where it ended. Once in my room, I turned on the lights and the bathroom fan let out a loud shrieking buzzing noise. It sounded like it was going to blow the motor and may possibly start a fire if left on so we opted to use the bathroom during our stay with the door open and use the light by the sink. We never turned the light/fan on again. The cover to the bathroom fan was open and I called downstairs to tell the staff and was told that she would alert maintenance. I climbed on top of the toilet to close it myself hoping it would muffle the sound but it did not. There was unpainted drywall damage near the shower rod. There was several holes in the walls. The hairdryer did not work. My key did not immediately work to get in my room. Had to try several times before it did. Thought my key was not activated. The breakfast was ok. There was no elevator and my room was on the second floor so I had to lug my bags upstairs. You pay for what you get. I would never stay here again.
