Very friendly staff and a wonderful, spacious and clean room (Room 1) with an overall very pleasant atmosphere. Especially as a woman travelling alone it was a very pleasant experience, I always felt comfortable and safe. The central location is very convenient for exploring the beautiful city and I will happily book here again on my next stay in Chester.

Did a surprise party for my husband’s 70th birthday everyone had a great time , the staff were lovely nothing was to much trouble and as for the food we had the hot buffet it was amazing,my friends and family are still taking about it so thank you all at the coach house you really did us proud

Had a lovely visit the staff are friendly chatty and offer excellent service, the bar is clean and again friendly helpful staff, the restaurant is gorgeous and offers great choice of food, the food snd service are excellent. The room was large lots of space clean and comfortable. Fabulous place to stay in heart of everything facing the Cathedral, short walk to Chester Wall, short walk to lots of shops and restaurants.

We had the pleasure of staying here while we were in the area for our daughters wedding. We used the trip advisors review's to find a hotel and decided on the Coach house. We had 5 total nights and couldn't have made a better choice. Rooms were comfortable, the food was great. Most of the time we would eat our meals here, the eggs Benedict was a great start to the day, I have never had a better hollandaise sauce. They have a cheese board on the menu that we ordered every lunch and dinner, loved it. The staff always made us feel like they were actually happy to see us. The location is within the wall's of the city and the architecture of the area amazing. We're from the U.S. but if we were to find ourselves back in the area the Coach house would definitely be our home away from home.

Great restaurant located in the city centre which offers a set menu either 2 course meal for £20ppn or a 3 course for £25ppn good selection of food which was excellent quality and cooked to perfection with good size portions served by friendly staff,

pleasant stay Pleasant room in the centre of Chester. /it was a little noisy, but only what was to be expected on a Saturday night in a city centre! Bed was comfortable, and room was clean. There is only one minor concern: We were given one key, which opened the front door, the door to the room's entrance, and our room door. Does this mean others can also use their key to access other rooms? Not sure... There is a safe provided, so for this reason, I'd use it for any valuables left in the room!
