My daughter and granddaughter treated me to a night away in The Townhouse and we had a lovely stay. The staff were so fabulous and friendly, the building was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely return in the future.

Just got home from a Fabulous stay at The Chester Townhouse. We had 6 Rooms and they were all great! The staff were so attentive and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. They even made an elephant out of towels on the Birthday Boys bed with a lovely message and Birthday cake! Lovely surprise. The breakfast is tasty, with a buffet style to start with pastries, cereals, yoghurt and fruit, followed by a good choice of cooked local produce. Unlimited tea, coffee and toast also. We will definitely be going back and would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Chester.

A nice independent hotel near to the centre of town. It's an old building so lots of stairs but nice views out onto the street, comfy bed and pillows, very hot shower and good hostess tray. We booked breakfast the night before and got the discounted full deal option. Very good continental selection and good cooked meal selection with good sized portions. Friendly staff.

4bedded room was spotless, comfortable, very reasonably priced too! Food was delicious and the breakfast choice superb! Staff were pleasant and the guy went above and beyond making my friend's stay perfect. We surprised her with a long lost friend and staff made the surprise perfect, we are so grateful. This hotel was ideally placed for a great choice of restaurants and was just a short walk to the races. When in Chester I will definitely be booking here again.

This is a fabulous , independently owned hotel, with sympathetic refurbishments in a centrally located, beautiful old townhouse. From the warm welcome on reception from one of the lovely staff members, this was a memorable stay for all the right reasons. Everywhere is immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and welcoming. The beds are extremely comfortable with high quality linen, and the room was spacious, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The shower was powerful, toiletries provided and lovely fluffy towels to finish! The breakfast experience was beyond our expectations for a small hotel. You put some of the larger chains to shame! Excellent coffee, breakfast cooked to order, and a wide selection of pastries, cereals, yoghurt, fruits etc. We were extremely lucky with the weather, so we enjoyed drinking our complementary Prosecco in the Seccet Garden. Thank you to all the staff for making this a perfect stay to recharge.

Booked as party of 9 for work retirement weekend. Excellent hotel, with good rooms at a very good price. I shopped around for a while, but managed to book for less than local Premier Inn and Travelodge. Would recommend for anyone visiting Chester.

Great location, friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Super smooth check in process! Chef Dil serves up an amazing breakfast 🍳 👏🏼 Really enjoyed our two night stay. We got the sun, so enjoyed a few drinks in the Secret Garden sun trap!! Thank you everyone!

Great location a short walk into the centre and a short walk to the river. Will definitely return to this hotel. Room 7 on 2nd floor some steep stairs no lift. We had a lovely big room one double 2 single beds. Nice comfy bed. White fluffy towels. Room 7 had a view over the rear of the hotel over the garden. Which looked a lovely area to sit out in. The hotel is spotless and is tastefully decorated. It has a lovely lounge /bar area. Would highly recommend this hotel. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. No parking but nearby payable carpark.

Came to Chester for the weekend and stayed here and it was great! A nice small hotel right in the town centre. Opposite 2 amazing pubs. The staff at the hotel were amazing, really helpful and friendly. Helped us get a hair brush also!😁 the rooms are very spacious and modern, also very clean with a stylish modern bathroom, there’s a secure car park just around the corner which was really handy for us over packers! But overall great place and great price.
