As a big fan of Premier Inns I felt this one wasn't up to their usual standard. Beds always very comfortable but the bedding wasnt adequate, slightly ill-fitting. Also the room was cold and the air con set to high did not work. The TV also did not work in our room, aerial connection was cited aa the reason on-screen.
On a lesser and more personal note, i like the scrambled eggs option in the morning but only fried eggs were offered at breakfast.

Overall a nice central hotel ,quiet well run establishment ,on arrival I enquired about car parking facilities as on the premier in site that was advertised on trip dot com it read that parking was free,I was told parking was payable by the staff on reception,which if had I known I would have arrived by train as I was staying 3 nights and this added an extra 36 ish pounds on top off my room fee.

This hotel is in a great location for Chester City centre and the train station. The room was clean and staff were courteous and helpful.

The Premier Inn bed lived up to expectations as the best around for sleep quality. Breakfast was good. The hotel is well located for the railway station, there are several restaurants in the vicinity and it is an easy walk to the city centre.
A bottle of water in the room would be welcome

Poor stay, but not horrendous. The main room itself was clean, which is the most important thing, so that was fine. The shower screen had the seal where it joins the bath missing. This meant the shower flooded the bathroom pretty bad every use. I flagged this up to reception the first time this occurred and got spare towels to put on the floor, but no actual fix was offered or new room etc, so manageable but not great when paying £306 for two nights. The room had a smokey smell too and the pillows were flat and only one layer with no spares, nothing like proper premier inn pillows that I actually have at home. No ironing board or iron in room and when I got one from downstairs it had no padding at all so would ruin clothes. Breakfast was not great. Paid and was told to find a table for 2. There were 4 or 5 available, all full of dirty plates and food and liquid all over them. Had to clear and clean myself. Then there was no cold milk with the cereal, all empty and no milk in the coffee machine so could only have black coffee, no cappuccinos etc. Wouldn't recommend this particular Premier Inn again and even worse that I'm down £306 for 2 nights for a poor experience.

Because the aircon was not working properly and, at night time, very noisy, we had to move from Premier Plus to Standard for our 3 night stay. Jo, the manager, and especially John,night staff, did everything they could to make up for our disappointment. This included special arrangements for car parking and complimentary breakfasts. If you are looking for a friendly and professional service, this is the place to stay.

I always enjoy staying in Premier Inns, as they are consistent and high standard. This was no exception. My only negative was that my room was so hot I couldn't sleep. The air conditioning didn't seem to help at all. However, the staff more than made up for it. So rare nowadays to get such friendly, helpful people with such high customer service skills. In particular the two night receptionists. I cannot begin to describe how helpful they were. Up and down the stairs to try everything to make the room cooler for me, while remaining so friendly and polite. As a solo lady traveller, this level of support is so much appreciated. Thank you so much.
