I called to make certain the hotel had an EV charger. Apparently, Hyatt does not make employees aware that NOT all EV cars are Teslas, because I would never have stayed in the first place. Now, I will avoid Hyatt because Hyatt advertises they have EV charge, but neglects to stipulate only for Teslas. I want a refund for keeping me from finding an appropriate hotel.

The bed was so comfortable and room was spacious. I liked the size of the bathroom, living area, and desk/mini food area. They had a good breakfast. At night a bar with food or other places within walking distance to eat. The WI-FI was reliable.

This was probably the worst Hyatt Place I’ve ever stayed at. Hotel is very dated and needs serious upgrades. My room had a nice 55” TV, but no HDMI cable, so the clarity was terrible. Hot water was non existent the next morning for a shower. Furniture in the room seemed old and had scratches

Hotel was clean but very outdated. Strange setup with sink located outside of the bathrooms. Bathrooms were small. Hot water was touch n go at times. Double billed for one of the rooms. Still trying to get that situation fixed. Breakfast was better than some hotels. The one bright spot was that the staff was incredible. Overall, I would not stay here again. I would instead look for a more up to date hotel with modern amenities.

Hard to believe that Hyatt would have their name on this property. This is no doubt the nastiest, oldest dated property I have ever stayed in of any chain. It almost seems like an abandoned property in rescue. There isn’t any part of the property that does not need serious work. It should be closed and gutted. The halls and our room had an oder of dirty socks. Very disgusting.

Great room and staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. Building needs some upgrades. Staff very helpful as we arrived late and without a prior booking. A/C worked great. Bedding was comfortable. Plenty of room to stretch out. Fridge worked great and kept our leftovers from dinner very cold.

Everyone at the Hyatt Place Richmond/Chester was friendly, professional, and helpful. Our room was ready early. Excellent breakfast!

Rooms were outdated. Hallways smelled awful on the 3rd floor. Bathroom were dark and hardly any light. Staff were always outside smoking. Fixtures in the shower/rail were loose and old. Bathroom door would not shut. Main room door was difficult to open and shut. Parking areas were not very clean. Just a huge disappointment in this Hyatt location. Would not recommend or stay here again. I can say however, the front desk lady was very nice and friendly. But overall hotel appearance was not good at all.

The pictures online of this hotel are fake/false. The hotel is run down, dirty, dark, dank, moist, mildewy, and just all around old. The carpets are sticky and in desperate need of a cleaning. I had 2 or 3 cockroach visitors within my stay in my room, as well as baby spiders in my bed. However, Ms. Karen, Ms. Sharon, and Mr. Ponytail (forgive me and no disrespect, I forgot his name) were absolutely the kindest and most helpful and enjoyable parts of my stay. They all went above and beyond anything I ever asked or requested.
