Les Chambres d'Oriane

I can't find the right words to describe this bed & breakfast. The owners, Francois and Monique, are two wonderful people, welcoming, attentive to every little detail to make guests feel at ease right from the moment they arrive. I found it fantastic that there is a rule to leave your shoes in a special wooden shoe rack, made of individual numbered drawers. This means that you enter the rooms with socks on and I can guarantee that you could even eat on the floor because it is so clean. Every room is very clean and the rooms are enchanting, romantic, cared for in the smallest details. The owners have traveled a lot and there is unique furniture, objects, works of art. A beautiful collection of nativity scenes from all over the world. Not to mention the paintings painted by Francois... Breakfast has three different options, one of which is included in the price and is already full of everything you might need. But my son and I, who love having a "KING" breakfast, chose the second option... What can I say? Monique's homemade jams are nothing short of sublime (the rhubarb one is very delicate, the banana and kiwi one is original, the strawberry one is fantastic, etc.) Very soft croissants, crunchy and fresh baguettes, milk, yogurt, juices, water, espresso coffee, cereals, fresh pineapple every day and I certainly can't remember everything, because it's so rich... A delight and a cuddle every morning. Francois and Monique supported us in every need and made themselves available so that my son and I could enjoy every day a vacation that we really needed, to find peace and serenity. The location is two minutes from the bus stop and taking bus 2233 or 2223 you can get to Disneyland Paris or the train station in about 15 minutes, where you can take the RER A to go to Paris which can be reached in about an hour. It is advisable to get the Navigo card (rechargeable and lasts 10 years) for the means of transport you want to take. It is more convenient if you have to use transportation often (bus, train, etc.) otherwise you can pay directly on the bus 2.50 euros per ride. If I were to return to Paris, I would choose to stay here, even if I did not have to go to Disneyland again. Enchanting structure managed by two fantastic people. Kindness, availability, courtesy, are their calling card. The structure itself is something unique. Everything is taken care of in the smallest details. It is also located just 10 minutes by car from Disneyland. I highly recommend it.
