Pros- Friendly and fast check-in by Brian. Our room was clean, and we had a new TV. It had a welcome sign on it when we walked into our room. Brian also texted to see how our stay was going .Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Karen and the other ladies in the breakfast area were top-notch at keeping everything stocked and clean. The lobby was well-appointed with hot, fresh coffee, tea bags, and apples available for guests. Cons- This facility needs a renovation. Our room was small, and the bathroom had lots of caulk around the tub and walls. Whoever did the terrible caulk job dropped caulk in the tub, and it hardened. While showering, it felt like I was stepping on small rocks. The toilet top on the back of the toilet did not match and was cracked. If I hadn’t paid $203.00 a night, I would not complain about this facility. Another thing, our room was on the street side, and it is loud: horns blowing,loud music, and swishing tires.

Dysfunctional AC is loud and temperature is always too hot and too cold Dirty AC unit and the bathroom has many stained surfaces. Loud and squeaky bathroom exhaust fan The room is small and appears dated. The staff is friendly and helpful when you have a concern.

Customer service is amazing! Especially Karen, she was so attentive with the breakfast- which was great! Excellent stay! right off the interstate, in a corporate park area- which I used for morning 🏃.

Upon arrival there was an inability to check in as their systems were down. We had telehealth conferences scheduled and a private space was needed due to HIPAA. This was requested from the front desk which they said could not be provided. By the time i was manually let into a room, two appointments were missed. Set up time was necessary and a hot spot needed to be paid for which cost additional money. Then the hotel gave access to my room to another guest during a private health appointment.. The front desk then incessantly called the room while appointments were occurring. This was extremely disruptive. The front desk manager was made aware of the problems and she indicated she would make sure something was done. When I stopped at the desk the next day, no messages were left. The day after check out which was also problematic as they were not able to provide a receipt, I received an e-mail from the general manager stating he would personally contact affected guests. After about a week, I received a call from the front desk manager offering minimal compensation. When I pushed back stating Hampton's 100% satisfaction guarantee. See below: Hampton Inn was one of the first brands to offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee back in 1989, celebrating its 25th anniversary this past October. The policy specifically states: "If you're not 100% satisfied, we don't expect you to pay. That's our promise and your guarantee." She stated she had to speak to the general manager. I asked that she request he call me directly and she indicated she would do that. After not hearing from him, I called and left a message directly on his answering machine and then left another with the front desk. It has now been well over two weeks and he has not responded. There is an obvious lack of regard for his guests and it is hard to believe this type of person has advanced to a position of responsibility in the hospitality industry.
