SpringHill Suites Chesapeake Greenbrier

We did not expect to what we walk into. This is property is not well maintained. The grounds landscaping was not manicured at all. The hotel lobby was average, the elevators floors were not clean, the rooms were not maintained they way that I seen others of the same category taken care of. The matteress was worn, the sheets to sleep on when you moved would not stay on the matteress. Hotel cleaning not, every three days and then they call it a fresh up the changed your towels, if you wanted you bed changed and the room vacuum you had to request it. What i thought was unprofessional is that when you ask for a room service, bed changed, towels etc you have to tell them specifically what you wanted. Otherwise they just changed you towels. We were guest for seven days. We call for a light switch issue it took three people to correct the issue, the correction was to replace the light bulb. The lobby bathrooms were more presentable than the hotel rooms. This hotel can really use a good upgrade, washing and painting walls, new bed matteress, carpet etc. We do not see ourselves booking this hotel again anytime soon.

Stay somewhere else. I was on floor 4, and the room was dingy, with stairs on the walls, ceilings, in the bathtubs. The carpets look like they haven't been cleaned in years. The WIFI was extremely slow. The business "center" computers were flickering and had the lines going through the monitor. The lights flickered above the bed as if it were faulty or *******. The AC barely functioned and the vents looked like they had not been cleaned in years. It just sputtered "coolish" air, enough to keep the room bouncing between 75 - 77 even though it was set to be at 64 when I got there. Considering it was 95+ degrees during my stay and I usually keep my rooms at 68 that was annoying. And when I called to ask the front desk if I was using the thermostat correctly she proceeded to tell me she doesn't know how it works. So apparently their staff doesn't know how to use the things in the rooms they are selling. There are constantly pools of water under the ice machine. And maintenance is only there in the morning. The bedframe looked like it was put together by toddlers, it had sharp edged sticking out on all corners and sides.. I honestly don't even know if it was a legit bedframe. You can hear EVERYTHING, above, below, in your hallway. I could hear the people next to me slamming their doors, turning on their showers, talking. I could hear the people above me running, pacing, throwing things around, talking. Same with the hallways. I was unable to go to bed until 3 am every night and was forced awake by 6am every day. The coffee tasted like coffee flavored water. If you want to get sleep somewhere clean, and comfortable, pick a different hotel, there are a bunch in the area. Don't get robbed of a decent stay like I did, take your money and run.
