I came to Chengdu in busy touristic season and I found Mustel was the best option to stay. Staff is polite, supportive and professional, room is beautiful, has fresh maintenance and it’s clean and comfy. I enjoyed stylish design and stunning windowsill. There’re some western restaurants nearby, cozy bar in the hotel and cafes downstairs, the hotel has some interaction options like mahjong room (I’d like to visit but didn’t have a company) and shopping mall, bars etc around. Price is also affordable. Thanks for the nice stay :)

It has been a great trip! Book this hotel because close to my friend place , straight 3nights stay which is a bit worry as non smoker I had bad luck with room most time in China. But stuff are really kind and helpful ,so we extended one more night. Room still a bit spacious but really clean and comfortable!

One of the important reasons for choosing this place is that it is very close to my meeting destination. Since it is an apartment-style hotel, it has some advantages and disadvantages unique to apartment hotels. Let me start with the advantages. You can clearly see the Twin Towers (see Video 1), the room is large, the decoration style is beautiful, the facilities are relatively rich (there is a washing machine), the surrounding environment is prosperous, and the room is relatively quiet. However, the maintenance was not very good. For example, in the room I stayed in, the toilet door could not be closed properly (see pictures 1 and 2), the shower head was broken (see picture 3), four light switches in the room did not respond when pressed (see video 2 and picture 4), and there was a layer of dust on the head of the bed (see picture 5). In addition, because the hotel uses an electric water heater, you can only take a shower for a maximum of half an hour before the hot water runs out. If a family stays together, they can't even take a shower continuously and have to wait for the water to boil. Too harsh for winter. The most critical point is that the room door cannot be locked (see Figure 6) and there is no door chain. I asked the hotel about this situation. Hotel: ”Our hotel door has an electronic lock that cannot be locked from the inside and cannot be opened from the outside.” Me: ”Is there a card that can be used? Do you have a spare card?” Hotel: ”We have the card, but we won't enter your room.” Me: “…” (To be honest, I don’t want to say anything anymore) I think other hotels also have electronic locks that open the door with a card, but they can also be locked from the inside or with a chain. How much does a door chain cost? Why can’t we make customers’ stay more comfortable? I ended up sleeping by leaning a chair in the room against the door handle. In addition, there are many hotels in one building, and multiple front desks are crowded in one lobby (but I personally don’t think this is very critical). I value hygiene and maintenance more. To be honest, I would rather it be fifty dollars more expensive and have the maintenance done well.

Excellent services at front desk. They are very helpful, friendly and politely. One guy who helped us to book an Uber , using his mobile app. That was convenient and efficient for a newcomer revisiting a strange place. Hotel room is spacious, tidy and clean. Location of the hotel is great, The room charges are reasonable . I will recommend this hotel to other tourists without hesitation.
