Chengdu Jinjiang District 5-star Hotels

Best hotel breakfast in our Sichuan trip! There is Chinese-style and Western-style breakfast, sausages, bread, cereal, and milk. The best part is they have coffee machines. So we can finally have espresso in the morning. The room was clean and nicely equipped. Reception was also really helpful. Even if she didn't speak English, she tried to communicate with us by using a translation app. Tammy is also really nice. She helped us book an airport drop-off. The hotel location is also super. Within walking distance from Tianfu Square, where you can find many food options at the underground mall, Chunxi walking street, and People Park.

My home is nearby. My relatives and friends came to Chengdu to play. They stayed here. It was very nice. The environment was beautiful. There were flowers and plants everywhere. It was a good place to take pictures and check in. There was a large forest in the yard, like a small park. When I woke up in the morning, I could hear the birds singing. It felt really good. The service was great. I encountered some minor problems when I checked in. The front desk and lobby manager helped me solve them enthusiastically and patiently. I like it. The room was very clean. The decoration style was the style of the Republic of China. The room toiletries were L'Occitane, and the bedding was very comfortable to sleep on. The breakfast was rich in variety and tasted good. Parking was very convenient and free. Just tell the front desk your license plate number when you check in. The surrounding transportation was convenient, with buses and subways. There were also many places to eat nearby. It was easy to find after walking for more than ten minutes. This environment is really suitable for bringing the elderly and children to stay. I highly recommend it~

This was a business trip, and I didn't have a favorite hotel. I chose this hotel through Ctrip's recommendation, and I was not disappointed. The waiter said it was a lifestyle hotel, and the lighting was softer. When I entered the room, the light was not glaring at all. The room facilities were very complete, and free drinks were provided. The location was also very good, and it was very convenient to take a taxi and take the subway. Huahua at the front desk provided very good service, and responded promptly to any needs. Check-out was also very fast, and a small gift was given as a souvenir. It was a very good stay experience, recommended.

Over the past 15 years, I have used Minshan Hotel's standard rooms, deluxe rooms, economy rooms, business rooms, executive rooms, conference halls, Chinese restaurants, Western restaurants, business centers... When I was in middle school, I watched it being built layer by layer, standing proudly in front of the old money-style Jinjiang Hotel, becoming the Chengdu hotel of that era; I also witnessed its decline in the past decade, but no matter what, such an old four-star hotel has already experienced prosperity and glory, quietly, contentedly, and at the same time, contentedly, and cordially, it is firmly located on the main road in the center of Chengdu, with a clear purpose of advance and retreat, taking care of its old customers. I think I am one of such customers. After all, the equipment and hardware are four stars of the National Tourism Administration and were once the landmark of Chengdu, so they are absolutely impeccable. Air conditioning, hot water, fresh air, bedding, and breakfast can all be said to be great value for money. Maybe it's because the hotel is no longer popular in recent years. The professionalism and level of hospitality of the reception departments such as the front desk, doorman, concierge, and parking lot are not as good as before; but, but, the key point is that the minor unhappiness caused by these shortcomings is overcome by the thoughtfulness, enthusiasm, and kindness of the service aunties on the floor. This is the case every time I check in, and this time is no exception. The aunties on the floor I met, Aunt Xiao, and the other two aunties, I can't remember their names, they are simple and kind, thoughtfully ask about needs, and do their best to meet needs. After comprehensive observation, I think their team really makes guests feel at home. Minshan Hotel is a very kind existence in the hearts of us wanderers. Every time I return to Chengdu and stay here, there will be many beautiful life memories in my heart. I sincerely hope that she will not collapse or downgrade, but will have a long-lasting foundation and guests. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of choices that we really enjoyed. However, our experience with the room temperature was less than ideal. The bedroom was too hot, and despite trying to lower the temperature, the air conditioning didn’t seem to work. We called the front desk, and although they were responsive, the solution provided was not what we expected. A housekeeping staff member brought us a standing fan and suggested we turn off the air conditioning, turn on the fan, and open the window instead. It wasn’t the most comfortable solution. Overall, the service was polite, but the temperature issue affected our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The service was truly exceptional, with every staff member going out of their way to make us feel welcome. A special shoutout to the room service team—they were incredibly helpful and attentive, especially when it came to assisting us with our laundry. Everything was handled efficiently and with great care, which made our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great location, excellent hospitality and thoughtful service.

During my recent two-day stay, I occupied rooms 3503 and 2308. Room 3503 offers a splendid high-rise view of the street, whereas room 2308, though lower in elevation, boasts a more elegant layout with soothing potted plants and lighting right at the entrance. The mini-fridge stocked with complimentary snacks and beverages was a nice touch, and the attentive service from the hotel’s dedicated CTrip.com concierge, along with the helpful bellboys at the lobby, enhanced my experience. However, the wait for the elevators was a bit tedious. The building has three passenger elevators and one service elevator, with two designated for Quanji Hotel guests and one and the service is for Xiyue guests. Since the two elevators for Xiyue are unlinked to each other, guests often press both buttons, leading to prolonged waits and repeated door openings. A potential solution could be to either share one guess elevator between Quanji and Xi Yue or to coordinate the passenger and service elevators better. Despite this, I would happily return for another stay.

Everything abt this hotel is amazing! Ideal location, near to major attractions and nice food nearby and til very late. The room is spacious, big, luxurious and very clean. Service is top notched too, everyone is helpful and friendly. Will definitely go back again !

When I first came to Chengdu, I stayed at the VIP building of Jinjiang Hotel. I was glad that my choice was correct. The room is spacious, the bedding is soft, the bathroom is spacious, and the indoor lighting can be selected according to your needs. The bright setting makes you feel cheerful, which is quite different from the dim lighting of most hotels. The hygiene is spotless, there is no odor, and pure cotton towels are placed on the floor, which makes you feel comfortable even barefoot. There are not many options for food in the executive lounge, but it is just right for breakfast. The freshly baked bread is light and not too sweet, which is suitable for weight control. It is recommended to increase the supply of drinks such as milk and juice to avoid shortages during peak meal times. The overall feeling is beyond expectations. Jinjiang Hotel can represent Chengdu as the business card of this city. Next time I go to Chengdu, I will choose the VIP building of Jinjiang Hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Chengdu. Our room was comfortable, clean, and offered stunning views of the city skyline. The staff was friendly and attentive, always greeting us with genuine smiles. Breakfast was delicious, featuring both Chinese and Western options. The location is perfect for exploring Chengdu’s attractions. Overall, an amazing experience—we’d definitely stay again!
